http://www.rfpro.com/ is the sim for pros :P
rf2 is just a derivative/beer foam  ;D  http://cdn.zmescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/o-BEER-facebook.jpg
I hate the tire modelling   ;D

Custom hardware / Re: Cruden Simulator

seems like  http://www.fillmoregames.com/machines/china/pop_moto.jpg
the same level of simulation of car seat actuators http://simxperience.com/portals/0/Images/StageSeriesRacingSims/StageIVGroundLevel.jpg
so many people get into simulator builds just for the cash and don't have decent projects to build, a car seat actuators system is not serious in my oppinion...just a way to help gases go out after dinner  ;D

whats with the hype ?:)) rfactor is dead since the first game, we're 4 years since rfactor 2 launch...and nothing impressive. it survives only with the help of fanboys and the american way of doing exclusive business...just like iRacing  ;D

personally I can compare the learning curve & experience of gp bikes with fsx
Rather, with DCS :)
FSX' physics is close to nonexistent... And when you go direct steering, it becomes "DCS with helicopters" (which is great, if you ask me)
I brought the Fsx in discussion because of its steep start , and I thought many can relate because even today, 11 years after release you can download the trial version :)
for me DCS (not LockOn series) is easier than FSX, a mega ton of fun after some control/graphics tweak  :)
I hate the helicopters in the game as role/design/versatility (DCS), was hyphed about Gazelle but they messed it up and abandoned it .

No way !
The audience for motorcycle games is narrower than car games (sim & arcade together) .
To be honest gp bikes is the hardest to get confortable with compared to any games/sims to date .
personally I can compare the learning curve & experience of gp bikes with fsx, a lot of stuff to get into the game to have fun and a lot more settings to have a good run.
With every update the game is ironed out, crashes & bugs seem abolished... but no way to get so mutch audience from gamers, with so many fps/strategy/other racing heavy advertised games  :P

Nothing to do with calibration, controller is calibrated and it doesn't happen with the SBK/stock/GP/Moto2/etc. It just feels different in all bikes from the WSBK 2017 set (love the WSBK 2017 bikes by the way, not hating, just trying to understand them more)

It is understandable that brakes will perform better at higher temps, but no matter how cold brakes are, if you pull the lever completely in, you should flip the bike at mid speeds. that's not  what happens with these bikes, it almost feels like if they have an assist turned on automatically. I actually went and checked my calibration and all assists turned off. Other bikes lock up the front under heavy braking this set does not. Was wondering if that was product of maybe ABS? But then again race bikes should not have ABS, so thought I'd ask you guys what was up with that?

Thanks for the quick response always.  :)

try harder :P
see in settings if the RED bar representing the front brake reaches max level,
use less than 50% linearity (mine 21%) to have the front brake jump from 50% to 100% faster,
check deadzone

mine crashes :P  https://youtu.be/AGOMIQqcvag

they see carbon pattern they go crazy ! :o  ;D
bigger picture/sketch will be more appealing :P

GPX thrustmaster -xbox licensed controller

eh I like to be fast with controls, and a fullsize steering device wont be suitable for chair gaming .. I'd go further for a bike seat and pegs, just my way of thinking :P
I liked rfactor but good God those loading times and clunky menus, GTR1 feel, the physics I like somehow ... but AC gives me more feedback visual, audio and control . {playing AC with gpx }
nicest overall package for my eyes, bought every dlc and will continue that :) {my first paid sim, after 1 year playing torrent version}

well, i get the clearing cache memory thing, but still, there are many instances when i just want to maybe change time.temperature/weather/bikes, and come back to the same track, i can't.
atm we have to leave Testing completely, for the slightest change.

who does not want that ?  :-\  don't know any game capable of doing that at the moment, maybe arcades like nfs world/driver san francisco when you change car by touching .
In sim games it seems to be a lot more complicated cause you want core mechanics to change , big parts of enviroment, so you affect that data in RAM.
Developers cheat a lot in games to give use more complicated scenarios for current hardware, think only about file compressions and data flow between system components that are  hammered to comply with current transfer speeds, we're bound to hardware performance that is great, but not scifi :P
28
eh,  I use that too, but some prefer that delayed control  ::) I firmly compare direct control with assetto corsas handling cause recently I play with gpx like in gp bikes .
I have a cheap logitech wheel, but pedals died  :o , and don't wanna invest in a thrustmaster wheel right now ... summer cycling, parts needed :))

I think "syncing" loads the track itself (like bike scroll menu category loads the full bike), its way bigger than the bike, when you scroll down the track menu it loads only the image/layout and settings of that track.
"back" to main menu  clears the cached memory with current track, it does not hang into memory like in other games/sims until you change settings
