Just wondering when creating a track in race track builder, do I select the target as 'Assetto Corsa', 'Rfactor 2', or 'None'. Would I need to convert it from Assetto Corsa or RF2 and if so how does one do that as well?

I have been wanting my local track in any game for a while now, and gpbikes seems the best option, as I prefer bikes over cars. I started to make the track, but after several wrubbish squiggles in race track builder on Steam I got absolutely nowhere. I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to make the track, or at least a tutorial as to making a track, which I can follow along to. It's only a small track, less than a mile, so I should imagine the work needed to be still significant, but not as large as many of the GP circuits. The track is three sisters in Wigan if any one is interested 😁 like I said I would do it myself but I'm not very good at this whole doodle track thing

In regards to steam modding without the workshop,I modded my flight sim in much the same way that we do GPB, by dragging and dropping, and there is very little issue, as a matter of fact I can't seem to recall one. The only possible issues I can think of is compatibility, and the fact the location of the main GPB directory would change, however I never had any issues with 'non-steam' mods there. Maybe some slight optimization differences, but that's all. That and the VAC system prevents major file changes for online use, so that really depends on if the steam version runs the VAC coding in it. The way I see it is that people who invest in GPB are here for the fun of it, and to have decent races, and not to cheat, so I doubt it'd be an issue but that remains to be seen I guess.
P.S: I would happily re-buy the Sim for steam as I love it that much, but it would be nice not to have to, keep it up  :) :)

I have been having issues loading Donnington NDS and Oulton Park NDS with a core crash on any layout. i have tried both with the stock bikes and riders, so it is definitely the track mods that are causing the issue. I have had this issue since beta 11, and was hoping it was going to be fixed with the new update. I have no idea if certain files need adding/editing/moving, and really want these tracks to work as I love them. I have re-downloaded the latest versions from the track MOD database several times and this doesnt seem to fix it. Any advice would be welcome.  :)

yeah it did, thats how I figured out it was the bikes. I've done a clean install of most of them, and they seem to be working fine now, even though I've not changed anything in my, install method, so I honestly have no idea unless the downloads got corrupted, as I downloaded a few at a time in one ZIP file. Thanks for the quick replies though  :)

I downloaded the separate Tyre files and installed them the same way I installed the bikes, in a tyres folder in the GPB directory, I am really confused as to why this has happened, as I had a bike working, but as I've added more its crashed, despite me using the same method for the rest.

I have been having issues loading into the sim, after selecting any modded bike. The bike doesn't appear to load in the background of the menus, and then when I click start I get a Core Crash. I don't know what would be causing it, and am looking for any suggestions, or should I just do a clean install of all the bikes?

I painted my own skins for the leathers and helmet. I then saved them as a TGA file and converted them to a PNT file as is required with PaintEd, however, when I put the file in the relevant paints folder, they are selectable in the menus, but the paint doesn't show up on the rider, just keeping the last selected skin or the default one. I'm really confused as to what is wrong, as I had already tested them in game, and they were working fine before this, and I've not changed my method.

I am also having this issue, however it is only when I go to search the "World" tab in the race section.
