Yes you are very right. Milestone is the best example of that. They released bad version of MotoGp 18, they even admited on facebook that the game wasnt created as they wanted. After year they made very good MotoGP19.

In case of Milestone they probably have a contract with Dorna they will release a game every year so they can at least have excuse that its Dorna who force them to release game every year.

But IoM TT? I dont know...

oh I understand. Thanks for expelantion. So its not like they pay once for a licenced name/product in the game. I thought its like this.

I have used that FOV software. But its annoying to use it everytime I launch the game, I dont think it is hard to implement it as a game option.

I see your pont, and I agree with that. I just dont know how much things like licences, sound recording etc cost. If we want for example new content and tracks how much will it cost. I just dont know thats why its hard for me to judge if the money they get from games are robbed or well earned.

I have tried Ride 3 today and this game is almost unplayable. Bikes handle so bad, they go wide, are understeery. Field of view is way too wide, with camera position in helmet camera cover the view with windshield that is not fully transparent.

I really hope that they will improve that.

Milestone admited that MotoGP 18 was released in rush and it wasn't the way they wanted. Ride 3 was also made in hurry, lots of elements like bike models/helmets/leathers/parts were taken out directly from Ride 2.

I dont expect that Ride 4 will be major step up or a brand new game made from zero. All I look forward to is improved physics, multiplayer features and bug fixes. I wish they also added customisable field of view, but its a thing I asked for a long time and they never implemented that.

I think that custom FOV will convince more people to play onboard camera. For me the helmet camera angle was way too wide. Bikes were too stable and off track grip was ridiculously high. When racing online people were constantly shortcutting going off track not even suffering from high time penalty. I didnt like that.

Nonetheless the tracks to choose from in Ride 3 were fantastic. I wish they didnt remove them in Ride 4 and add few more like Paul Ricard circuit, Suzuka, Horice road track, Le Mans.

As for the motion sickness I never had that problem until I started to play MXGP19. So I started to dig deeper to understand the reason why it happens.

I have turned off motion blur (although I always play without it) and antialiasing. But it didnt help. Then I realised I have overdrive feature in my screen. This helped to reduce ghosting and the screen blurr is much smaller.

General Discussion / Re: Trailbraking feel wrong...?

Did you guys see that video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14vS6hnfgrs

I think It explains some of the things we discuss here.

However I have noticed the issue with MotoGP mod. Didnt notice it in other bikes. As for riding irl I dont have much experience and I dont  push front tyre much as I dont have that experience. I just trailbrake and then hold throttle slightly to stabilise the bike and reduce riding on idle as much as possible.

And you cant even record replays from time attack :-( I like MotoGP 19 but I have a feeling that the progress in the game development is too slow.

I have similar feeling. At the corner entry the bike should easier turn in, but in the middle of the corner I think it is correct that it goes wide. When braking with front brake (depending on the tyre of course) the straightening forces put the bike more upright.
As for rear brake I didnt look closely. Need to check.

I bought MX Bikes again on steam. I really like it and hope that your hard work will be rewarded with good sales rate.

As for GP Bikes I really hope for revised off track grip in next build :-) and maybe post processing.

I dont have a problem with that, just like in real life you dont have full grip everywhere.

My only complaint is that it seems that profiled turns, with positive camber seem not to have that benefit and you crash on them easier.

Quote from: matty0l215 on September 09, 2019, 05:03:42 PMThis can be adjusted by modders. But i know what you mean. It is very forgiving off track at the moment

I know I know, but I was reffering to base game and Vicotria track.

I miss a little head shake depending on the speed of the bike. It would give more immersion to the onboard racing.
