Adding "padding = 3" under the "speed" section of the gauges data in the gfx.cfg file should fix the issue.

What can be done about the rpm values doing the same thing?

padding = 5

Hardware specs are Win 8.1 Intel i7 PC gtx970 card connected with monster HDMI to 43" Vizio TV. The PC was hooked up to and working fine on a Sony 24" monitor. At 1080x1920.

Is the monitor still linked to the PC? Or is the graphics card linked to the TV only?
It is possible to manually change the resolution editing the file profile.ini in "My Documents"\PiBoSo\World Racing Series\profiles\"your profile name"\
or, if it's a clean install, editing the file wrs.ini in the wrs folder in the World Racing Series installation folder.

TrackCenterline will be.
EventInit wouldn't make sense, because it is meant for telemetry only.

Cool, thanks. It would be nice if there was an*Init() and a *Deinit() event common to both loaded replays and live sessions.
I can use TrackCenterline  as Init() (once it is available in loaded replays too), but I may miss a *Deinit() event for cleanup, deallocation etc.

RaceDeinit support is coming, too.

OK I see, thanks.

I was kinda hoping to use _iState to tell the difference between a replay/live spectating while in an event from a saved and loaded replay, but I see I can't do that.

Any reason why in a loaded replay some events (e.g. EventInit, TrackCenterline, ...) are not called ?

If a replay is loaded then SPluginsRaceEvent_t -> m_iType sent to the "RaceEvent" function should be set to -1.
Thanks, I may be able to work with that.

Still, it would allow to do more stuff if callabacks like EventInit, TrackCenterline etc were called during loaded replays, but no big deal.

When going to replay from track during a testing session, the simulation is paused, so it's not possible to spectate.
The "Live" button is even hidden, so everything seems correct.

The same problem happens with gpbikes.
win7 64
dualcore 2ghz
graphic card little amd

There are report in KRP and MXB, too.
Same question to you, too:
Is the TV the only monitor, or is the PC connected to other monitors, too?

This problem has been reported several times before with external TV.
Could you please write more about the hardware setup?
Is the TV the only monitor, or is the PC connected to other monitors, too?
What graphics card are you using? Is the TV connected with an HDMI cable?

Hi Piboso

Would sidecar racing be posible in WRS due to its physics being more for a car than a bike?

DD

The vehicle dynamics of a sidecar is indeed closer to a car than a bike.
However, a sidecar is a beast of its own, because of steering and suspension geometry and, most important, the moving passenger.
If you have the patience to wait, there will be simulated sidecars ( F2 class to be precise ) in an upcoming project  ;)
