Many ask about video recording software for YoyTube etc, well I was having a real problem trying to do one in AC without getting fps hits and input lag.

On an off chance of trying anything I had I remembered OBS allows local recording and not just streaming, gave it a shot and BAM, NO fps hits, input lag oor any problems and great quality.

EDIT: Make sure you set the recordings to mp4 format in settings and it will make an mp4 you can send straight to YT if you dont want to edit it.

I think it is time for me to add a little to the club as I am no good at modding or apps, the least I can do is help to make online racing in the club a bit more fun and also offer a server or two more to give a wider variety of events and relieve all the pressure form the fantastic Nick and MMA.

As many of you have read in other threads and also put up with my testing I will be doing live streaming of races and other events like bike release test etc etc. I will also be doing full 1080p 60FPS videos once the hardware is acquired.

I have to thank you all for your help and patience over the last week with my testing.

A generous donation of £40.00 was made to the future live streaming and new GPBOC servers by Napalm Nick!!!


The money will be spent on X-Split licensing and go towards an Elgato HD60 capture/stream box.

Nick has also offered to help with the setup of the new servers to ensure the incompetent yet willing DD von Frankenstein will not cock up all the club races.

Rumors have it that the ever encouragable DD will even attempt to find a counterpart to the amazing MMA  in order that the club has a 24/7 server service.

Ladies beware of an old fart making promises of a career in the internet industry!!!

Hi guys.

Well I thought we actually need a thread that is for the live streaming chat as it is all over the place at the moment lol.

So...............

I can stream no problem, BUT I only have a GTX670M, the only one that has no support for NVENC!!! This is a big issue and a bummer. Secondly, I only have the free version of X-Split as I dont have the dosh to pay for the license. These are the main cons for me at the moment.

I have tested OBS too and it seems that X-Split still gives better quality in the end. My internet is only good for 3000kbs upload speed at the moment but is supposed to be increased this month. This is fine for 720p streaming but I lose out on quality as I am stuck with only certain options in the free X-Split. As soon as I can afford a license I will get one. Just gotta get the money on my PayPal account and can do it. It is only $9 for a month or $25 for 3 months so will do it asap.

I think this is important for GPB as it will bring new customers to GPB and generate good PR for Piboso.

I have been reading up and watching tutorials and am working on the presentation and quality of representing GPB as best I can.

I need to do a lot of testing to get it better but its a start. Piboso needs to drastically improve netcode and the live replay system, or rather THE replay system. We need far more info to make streams interesting and attract repeat viewers. I will do my best but I will not promise to not drop F bombs, sorry its just me but I will TRY.   

I guess I can just host a race and set all times to max to let it go as long as possible so people can come in and ride to test streaming. I can do a bit of testing riding myself, but the real test is using the relay system with multiple bikes fighting it out to have more on screen at the same time to test stream quality and speed.

I need some help here, so I will post HERE when I am going to host a test session. I will host a race and wait for someone to come on. This is where I could do with some actual real time communication with someone here in UK that we could actually use phones to communicate real time and not just via the forum. I have a lot to do so it is real hard to keep stopping to come on  the forum and check messages all the time.

It would be best if we had a general time that is best for people to ride as we are all over the world lol.

 OK....................................I have been down for most of the day as my laptop decided to try and cook the GPU!!!

Just sitting in the pits in GPBikes before the Endurance Race at Norisring last night, my GPU was at 81 degrees!!!! Both fans were going ape shit and I swear they were fast enough for my laptop to fly!!!

Well...........I dont get money to end of the week and if I use the Thermal paste I want, Arctic MX-2 it will be a week to deliver. This means NO testing or gaming for 2 weeks!!!. Am I going to wait? No Way Jose. I took me grub money and rode to a Maplins and got some Cool Master E1 thermal paste for £7.99 and then did this to my laptop!!!



Yep, you have to TOTALLY strip the thing to replace the CPU and GPU thermal paste. My laptop is about 2 years old, so it is a bit before I should have to do this but at least I can. It only took 3 hours as I really took care and the time to clean it like new.

The results are great. With no overclocking and at my normal HD 1080p resolution for my system I ran Heaven benchmark and underload the GPU hit 62 degrees!!! I then overclocked the GPU from 620MHz to 690MHz and the memory only 1500 to 1550, as I was being careful and the test ran the temp to only 65 degrees...............woohoo she is fit again.

I then went back into GPBikes, joined a server and sat in the pits for 10 mins( I had moved the Hs2 away to work on the laptop) highest temp was 61 degrees, 20 under the night before!!!

So if you have GPU heat problems I highly recommend replacing the thermal paste on your GPU with Cool Master E1. It is NON electrical conducting by the way, so nice and safe.

I feel some overclocking coming on again woohoo.

Hi Hawk thought I would report a very bad core every time almost on the last hairpin. It is on the right and practically half way across the track almost like a crack ACROSS the track not along the edge. It is as you are cranked over and about to bring the bike back up so almost coming out of the corner. I will try to get a pic for you if I can without a core lol. It happened to me 8 times in 10 laps. Not been offline as not in the mood anymore. Thought it best to report mate.

BUT!!! Please mister magic man, can you make ALL the HUMP cams like the first one? It is epic the jumps you can do and the races between riders to how fast over them they can go side by side and not miss the next curve(especially the 2nd one) will make some great video scenes.

Stable track too, NO cores yet............WOOHOO

What point is the netcode if the sim core crashes all the time for no apparent reason and not even for regular reasons as it crashes for a certain track and bike one day then without doing anything it suddenly works for a day then the next day crashes again. I have had this for a week where I changed nothing in GPB, my Windows or my computer, but GPB could not make up its mind to crash or not!!!

Who will buy a product that crashes everytime you change the bike, or track? Stability must be a priority for sales, then your netcode as you can now use it without GPB crashing BEFORE you got to need it!!!

Forget adding SPECIAL scooter or other classes of racing. Get what you have perfect first, it will help later on when you want to include more content. As others have said, you have an army of modders to handle the content, give them a stable platform to work with and content will NEVER be an issue.

Keep in mind, all the other sims you do have already been done and are plentiful on the market, GPB is a FIRST and ONLY road bike true sim that has NOT been done. This point alone is important to the motorcycle gaming community, Big Ben wont make a good product, they have already showed their hand at what they are NOT capable of doing. Who gives a shit if they did a car game that was good, it was a CAR game not a BIKE game!!! They wont come close to you P.

You said the physics were fine?  They still lack certain elements of finalization, but they are usable for a V1 compared to the past beta releases. If the modders can work their magic, and some already have, temporary fixes can be excepted. Only your bike for the demo must be as near perfect to aid sales. Maybe even having your bike and ONE mod bike in the demo would add to sales possibilities? Give new customers a taste of whats to come!!!

Whatever happens and whatever you do, we will be behind you all the way.

EDIT: I nearly forgot one point. Making a TRAINER for GPB would be a very worthwhile thing as it will be attractive to new members who want AI and/or a Ghost as it combines them and is a good compromise. It will also be good for those who have internet connection problems and are put off by the fact GPB is racing online ONLY. It caters for a larger sale group.

EDIT of the EDIT: Could you have multiple trainers at one time? THAT would be a first if they could be from different real riders. It would allow friends to have personal offline competitions too.

I was just wondering, I know if electronics are ON they obviously reduce acceleration to help certain scenarios etc, but when they are off, HOW much faster is a bike in relation to when they are all ON?

Might sound a dumb question, but for a beginner still weening off the electronics, I am not finding myself faster as such, due to naturally a few more visits to the tarmac with my bottom.

The reason I ask is, would it be better to get faster using electronics and learning the tracks and bikes, or is it better to start off with no electronics?

It would mean possibly being over cautious with it all off AND More dumps= more being in the way online!!!

Hi guys, just stumbled on this site looking for a good 95 NSR paint and it is pretty usefull IMO.

It is scale models, but professional high quality builds and photos.

I only took a bit of a look but has bikes and helmets so far I could see. The views are great to get correct placement and also give ideas for custom liveries maybe.

Hi guys.

So l have finally started building the new Hs2 StreetFighter system for Darin at InsideSimRacing TV.

It kinda broke my heart to basically destroy the finished Hs1 I had built for them pictured below.



As it was fully tested and ready to ship I took a deep breath and tore it apart...........

WHY you ask do it, well.................I have finished the designing and 3D printing of the new parts for the Hs2 StreetFighter system!!! WooHoo I am back on track.

After losing ALL my designs and most of 25 years of pics, designs and docs over Christmas when my WIN10 decided to eat my backup drive instead of backing up to another drive and destroyed 2TB of data!!! I had no choice but to start again and decided to re-design everything!!!

Now the Hs2 has all the handlebar control MTE units ONBOARD!!! right on the bars.



Total saving of 60% space needed for the system, less weight, less shipping cost and less furking around for lil ol me.



These are quick pics as I just finished the primary build and will now make the new wiring loom and replace all the cheap hardware with nice pretty anodized Allen bolts and shit.
Also made some 3D logos for my brand and InsideSimRacing.

Hi Guys.

So with the problem that the 990 seems to have a limited number of skins depending on each persons computer system, we need a way to ensure we all have the right paint files when racing online to fully enjoy that personal feeling during online racing.

I think if we all do a bit more work and actually ensure we the user organizes and ensures we have the paints we need. Many paints are no longer used and take up space in a bikes paint folder. When as with the 990 this causes core crashes, we need to organize our own folders depending on our own limits in GPB.

THUS..............I think it would be an idea to start making it that EACH PERSON has a paint folder where they have in the right folders(if the paint name does not show what it is for) their personal paints. They simply leave the download link on a certain page for all to download as they need them. At the same time the fantastic matty can add them to the paint database.

By using personal folders as apposed to just a bike or helmet class, it will allow us all to have the correct paints we need and get rid of the ones that are out of date and/or are not used. This will ensure no stock paints in online racing and reduce core crashes with the 990.

Even if there is an amount over that of which you can have in your bikes paint folder, when you know who is in an online race, you only need to have their paints and personal paint folders will make this easier to do.

Please let me know what you think so we can organize to do this with guidelines to make it easier for all to do.
