Hi guys

So just installed new driver and when I set GPB to 4k it has 1920 x 1080 in red letters not seen this before and cant get it to read as it should for 4k?

Any ideas

OKAY I get it you use Discord for everyone BUT for me and the database it is making my life hell to keep upto date.

PLEASE ALL MODDERS send me DIRECT links for downloading so I know when you update or make a new mod.

Discord is a pain in the arse for me to keep track of and I dont have time I am VERY BUSY.

I do this for the whole community but need some help so...............SEND ME DIRECT LINKS PLEASE

Hi to all

Ok its a bit different from most posts but its about how GP Bikes is the ONLY simulation that can be used to not just having fun but also to learn.

I think it is ok to show this and the University to use GPB in this way as it is not for the public but for study. I have asked the Uni to include that they use GP Bikes by Piboso when they update the page and they will but for now I just wanted to share that GP Bikes is so much more than just what most use it for,

I must thank Piboso for making this possible, it may help many people if used correctly, who knows?

This is Otilia a very inteligent young lady that is studying the effects of riding a bike on people and needs to learn herself the stress of riding a bike, the Uni uses real riding of real bikes and the riding of a simulator together so not just on my system and gpb but they set up the system to match the real bike then do tests that could be a problem with safety on a real bike without the danger.

I am at present building the BMW S1000RR sit-on for them as the desktop set was just to get things started.

This is a WIP of the Sit-on





This is only the start of the uses for GP Bikes and I hope Piboso realises what he has made and continues to work on it.

I am trying my best to get to the point of FFB and motion but costs are a bummer right now. All the systems I make for Universities and other reasons (spoiler alert) are to be able to eventually be able to get the system where it needs to go.

As for FFB, working on Direct Drive sit-on with a cool dude outta Germany so things may change soon and that makes things like the studies for Universities and YOU guys even better.

So.......know its not ya norm thing but wanted you all to know that GP Bikes is so much more thatn you think, thank Piboso for a brilliant product and all the modders for the brilliant content that makes GP Bikes what it is for us all.

FYY My system in the Malaysian Uni using GPB got Best of Best in Asia and that was back in 2016.......GP Bikes needs to get more publicity and I cant do it alone.

Hope this is ok with Piboso but it is to help someone here get into GPBikes in VR as it is SOOOOOOOO COOL

I just pre ordered an HP Reverb G2 and therefore my hardly used (due to lack of time to use it) CV1 is up for grabs, I can get a good price on ebay and sell to anyone but I would rather get less and give someone here a chance to get into the best VR sim there is GPBikes baby!!!

Its in great condition and as I said hardly used. It comes boxed with 2 sensors and hand controllers. Cobwebs are free lol

PM me if you really want to take GPB to the next level it is so worth it.

Looking forward to GPB VR in high res with the G2 and will be leeting you know how I get on with it.

Hi, is anyone using HP Reverb G1 in GPBikes as I am getting a G2 and have only used a Rift and not sure on setup and settings for WMR and SteamVR etc etc

Any help would be great and a tutorial for others would be coolbeans

Due to the fact many pnt files no longer work and to keep track of all new ones I am not sure what to do.

I have 8,43 GB of pnt files thats 2893 files in total and many will no longer work!!!

To edit files of other users is not right but how the hell we are going to do this and not have pnt files all over the place as many do not say what they are for I will need help from you guys.

ONCE Piboso give me the correct name length as he has not posted it!!!!

We can start to figure something out.

PLEASE make sure you post only pnt files that work in beta18b ONLY

I will try to sort it out but many files were made by people that are no longer here or just dont update them.
I have a hundreds myself!!!

Hi guys thought it best to explain it a bit more and what way I find safest to not disturb your profile etc etc

You must first download the mods................DOH

Track Database: Track Database

Bike Database: Bike Database

Some Bike Mods do NOT include tyres!!! Make sure to get ALL Tyres to save problems

Tyres Database: Tyres Database

Helmet Database: Helmet Database

Paints Database: Paints Database

Riders Database: Riders Database

Go to the GP Bikes mod folder and right click on the mod you want to download and then select Standard Download

You must make an extra folder for your mods, for example I make a folder on C drive and call it "gpb" then I make a folder in that called "mods". Now in the mods folder make a folder each for "tracks", "bikes", "rider" and "tyres" make sure to name them as I have or GPBikes wont recognise them. Helmets go in the Rider folder.

Then add the following to the core.ini file in your GP Bikes install folder
:
[mods]
folder=c:\gpb\mods\


You also need to unpack the original "misc" folder in your GPBikes install folder and add mods to that folde, this is becaus misc mods dont aleays work if outside the install folder. Dashes, Stands and Effects  go in the misc folder

If a mod will not show ingame make sure you dont have a mod in a mod names folder, ie:  tracks/ Le Mans/Le Mans/ all track files. This can happen when unpacking the mod.

If you run a server, all you need to do if it is on the same computer is add the mod lines to the server core.ini and it will use your gpb games mods so you dont have to do it all again!!!

So I went and installed Manus new modern and casual riders and now I can not get either the old version of 1 and 2 or the new versions and casual to show in game I only get legend and modern, tried to re install old but for some reason can not get modern type 1 or 2 to show in game

Any ideas or can I ge the very original install files for the 1 ans 2 as it is as if I am missing a file or something

I have an ASUS ROG Strix ScarII GL704GW with i7 8750H, 16GB Ram RTX2070 8GB GDDR6 and on victoria (just installed it) I only get 40FPS!!!!

My main system has nearly same specs and is perfect 160+ FPS on any track

Have latest graphics driver

Cant beleive this!!!

Just rearraged the database for Bikes, Tyres, Riders, Helmets and paints n more on the new database so one link takes you to all.

Got a lot more to upload as soooooooo many paints lol but riders and helmets can be downloaded seperately but with ALL the paints I have for last 9 years!!!

Hi guys,

Not used VR in GPB since I just rebuilt my system. I cant remember if it had flickering before but got some now. Can actually show on video as in headset only.

I am running a custom Asus ROG system with Maximus Code motherboard, Asus 800watt PSU Asus strix RTX 2070 i7 7700 @4.8Ghz 16GB 4000Mhz Ram and SSD drives. I have a USB3 Hub that is made for VR and know I have no power problems or drop off for USB for the VR.

In VR my FPS never drops below 90 and have plenty of resorces left.

Might be my setting but tried everything and it might just be normal and I forgot DOH

Any help would be cool

[PNT FILE NAMING RULE]

I have uploaded all my rider paints from 2010 to date. To get bike paints you will have to download the whole bike pkz and unpack it as it is tooooo much work to do the thousands of paints I have.

Helmets are the same so download and unpack.

Riders I was able to upload the folders so there is a sub folder with individual paints and also the original rider files.

PNT FILE NAMING RULE

PLEASE make sure your pnt file name has WHAT it is for FIrst and then you name for it after ie:

modern1 rossie 98.pnt for a moder type 1 rider

motoGP19 KTM MDL1 Mike#63.pnt for a MotoGP_2019_KTM_RC16_MDL1

AGV Pista GP plonka#1.pnt for an AGV Pista GP helmet

I NEED this to make my life easier to keep ALL the databases upto date. I am a busy man lol

Thanks if you follow the rule, if you dont your paint wont go on the database. Its not much to ask for.

Get your helmets here......come an get em.......cheap at half the price!!!

All Helmets are in a rar file to unpack as once you got em you need to add new paint that get posted.

All helmets come with ALL paints I have since 2010

The database for new bike mods is finally up and running. I can only post updates for scratch built bikes due to the Milestone ruling.

Please check mod section for info on bike mods and then check the database to see if there is anything new. Hope this helps guys

Firstly BIG THANKS to all for your paints, models and plugins. YOU make GPBikes what it is!!!

I do however have a major issue to bring up with you all.......... pnt names.

Many of you spend a lot of time on making liveries and paints for bikes, suits and helmets, but you then only spend the shortest time on the pnt name. The pnt name is very important. Sometimes I will download 5 or 6 paint files only to find they are just pnt files and not in folders and even when in folders the name is just Valentino Rossi 2018 or so simple you would not have a clue what its for if ever anything happens to your GPB. Also I want to start a database for paints and its going to be a nightmare to organize as it is lol.

We started a long time ago to have a formula to pnt names so that is is easy to know just by the pnt name what its for AND it is actually easier to upload and download just ONE file that a zip with folders to get it to the right place!!!! JUST use the formula and all you need to do is upload the pnt file and nothing else.

As an example pnt file I got was just  Valentino Rossi, is it for a bike, for the rider or for a helmet? how would I know? Do you know how many have made rossi paints lol, my point is that when downloading more than one pnt file you can end up with many pnt files and not know where they go or what they are for.

We started way back to use a formula that made it easy but has been dropped with many new members not doing it.

You dont have to use underscore like BMW_S1000RR or the full bike or class name just enough to make it clear what its for.

There is a maximum of 32 letters and numbers you can use in the name.

It is best when the name is written as below:

Object Name: Bike Class, Rider Class, Helmet Type: STK1000_14 for STK1000_2014

Model Name: BMWS1000 for BMW_S1000RR

Personal Name: What you want to call it or a Team name: IAS Racing for my Team or any name

Number: A race number if used: 63

This gives: STK1000_14 BMW1000 IAS Racing 63.pnt

I know its long BUT how long did you spend on painting? 

It is important so please can you start using this formula to help save paints being misplaced or lost.

Hope you know I am just trying to make it easier for everyone to know what pnt file is for what.

DD needs help. Due to serious questions from a motorcycle group, I have been asked about me hiring a sit-on system out and using GP Bikes, but they want the 2019 BSB full bike set to ride on.

Before you jump me I will talk to Piboso about it and Advertise for Piboso as I always do in averything

The group is willing to pay good money not peanuts and it is a buisness deal not a favor.

All track are wanted too and I have yet to check my database but have video confrences all night after this post.

Anyone  with good knowledge that wants to help it will be much appreicated.

This comminity is the best in the simultion world. Our Modder rock and we are spoilt for tracks and bikes.

Lets just say, whatever I do it's pushing GPBikes and putting it out there.
Kinda got me GPB head on as so want to get this sim out to more people.
