Great link h106, very interesting and full of links. Just dont everyone rush out and borrow your mums/dads, sister/brother or wives car wiper motors. If there is an increase in wiper motors in your town its due to h106 lol

Thanks buddy. A very merry christmas and happy new year to you all

Really like the concept of the motor. Until now the boxer motor (BMW, Goldwing, Porsche etc) is the most proficient configuration for producing power with the least amount of power loss due to the pistons fighting each other. It reminds me of the old aircraft motors with hundreds(slightly exaggerated for fun) of cylinders in a circle. A guy has built a bike with one in it!!!!!

Have you got more renders for us chappy???

Well bugger me backwards 110hp, as mattey rightly said thats nout more than the power of a rabbits fart!!! It should at least have the power of 2 rabbits farts or 1 and a half pig farts!!!

I am on the right forum aint I????

Very nice render though, looks like at least 2 pig farts fast to me!!!

@ BOB dude what you just said about Daniel shows your a good guy, you recommend someone for a place with a free controller but dont ask for yourself, that's dedication to the cause, always knew you were a cool dude.

Hi guys and gal,

Just finished testing my XBOX360 controller mod for foot gear shifter, love it. I is so good to be able to manual shift and hardly think about it as I use my left foot like on a real bike. I have only made an initial test foot control that is just 2 down push pedals as apposed to a single up/down shift pedal. I am doing it this way to start to try and save on cost as I am waiting on the 3D printer to make the parts out of ABS instead of Ali. I did the plans years ago but never bothered to carry on, but as so many seem to rather have a modded controller for cost reasons I think its something I will do.

It may seem a simple mod but to get it right is a bit more involved than first seems apparent. I am working on an analog rear brake foot control mod for the XBOX controller too and should have it tested this weekend.

I dont have a PS3 controller yet, but will mod one too and others.

Keep it sunny side up

Hi guys,

yeah but its back to the VR point.........

Any system that can NOT work without VR is in itself not a full motion system. Forcing people to wear a VR set is wrong to start with. I refuse to use one as I plain and simply dont want to put something on my head..........point!!!
Iknow we ride with helmets, but its the one plus point of being in a room, you dont HAVE to wear a helmet, your not going to crash!!!!!!!!!!! So lets at least make it fun and not force people to have to spend LOTS of additional money and force them to wear something on their FACE. Some people have problems with it, I do. My face has been badly smashed structurally, and I HATE anything or anyone getting near my face. Even sunglasses bug me. I am not the only one and it should be considered. All you need is head tracking and that works fine without a frickin facebox lol.

If a system works well enough, it will immerse the rider so much they will not have the need for VR. Even on my static systems, I get so involved in riding I dont realize there is a world around me, all my thoughts are on the screen and my controls, I dont need VR. I also think many of you forget that a bike at full speed that is then thrown to the side for a curve, if simulated correctly, it could be dangerous to an unsuspecting rider. It only takes one incident and someone could get hurt. Unless you want to surround the system with rubber mats there needs to be a limit to the angle, speed and velocity of movement. If you study many of these car motion simulators, you will find many are making people sick, even professional F1 drivers have stated it. In a closed enviroment and without mother natures forces at work, the rider will quickly become sick, look at bucking bronco's from the USA.

These points must be considered, you can not just go by textbook physics and say it will work. You have to look outside of the box.

Hi Toomes, if your a good rider I cant see why not. I will not be starting this until the new year and have tested some of my new products more. I am trying to get to see who is interested, how good they ride and their genuine interest in working with me to develop new controllers, test and use them in GP Bikes and basically let others know how well they work. PM me with your name and number and direct email address for further info.

To anyone with interest, this is not just to have a team but to try to help make a controller better for all on GP Bikes. It will mean not just racing in GP Bikes but also letting people know how it is instead of a game pad or wheel system. I also need help to know how different riders with different setups feel with the controls. We are luck that Piboso has given us this great sim and that we have so many Modders working to make it more interesting and enjoyable. I wish to add my bit by giving us all a means to control the bikes in the sim and enjoy it to the limits in our own homes. The systems I will provide will be the systems that I am developing to make it possible for everyone to have at a fair price, that means equal to or under the cost of a car wheel system and still with original bike controls!!!

I know that if we can work together on this, we can make the world of motorcycle sims a more enjoyable one and also one where we get to really feel more like we are a part of the bike in the sim.

Anyone wishing to be a team player please PM me with your details and I will get back to you asap.

Keep it sunny sid up guys

I only use the MotoGP and SBK series to test that my system works with them and write the ini files for XBOX360 config files which Milestone and Capcom insist is needed to have anything but a gamepad work in their games.

You cant substitute GP Bikes!!!

Thank you very much Piboso. I look forward to the future of both of our ventures. I am rather hardcore when it comes to marketing as I have 25 years in the custom motorcycle trade and know where to put the right kind of marketing in the right place. I like to take new ways to market my products and as I use your GP Bikes for all my demonstrations I always push your product with mine.

I will contact you soon about more specific details where I plan to bring you far more sales of GP and MX Bikes.

Keep up the fantastic work, it is a milestone in the motorcycle simulation software history.
