Hmmm ... not sure you'll be able to even simulate the front arm swinging as GPB only allows for linear sliding of the fork parts ... at best the front arm could be made to translate up/down instead of rotating around his pivot ...

What is your question Furious ? (I don't know anybody at Vyrus but ...)

The question was about swing arm. Maybe Piboso will implement possibility to use that kind of suspension in some years to come. If it was already supported i would have more motivation :P Either way, will try model it in 3D and than w8 for the support.

PS> I thought than Vyrus is better known and more users will be interested :/

At first I thought its preparation for the HMD stuff, and its actually corrected over previous versions. But if Piboso tell us it will be corrected than I wont discus :P

Guys. If the bike behave is calculeted correclty with the dynamic physics it can't be wrong. I'm almost 90 % sure, that all that wobbles and stuff you are complaining about is caused by the virtual rider you ale "partly" controling. I assume, while you plug in a proper wheel and use direct steer, then all the negative effects might go away. I have no forcefeedback wheel right now to check it out, so i cant tell for sure.

I just want to point out that lack of true input to the bike you can't really tell if the bike behave is correct or not, because you are never sure what virtual rider is doing.

General Discussion / GP Bikes Central

Since we are able to create new content for our beloved game in the proper way I would like to suggest something like GP Bikes Central.
For example, every one who played rFactor knows RFCentral site. If you want to get something for rF1 you can easily go there and find. Who can help with creating such thing? A site with all the tracks and mods properly sorted and accessible, moderated by a few. Creators of mods would post there their work, and it would be a place with most actual mods.

What you think about it?
General Discussion / Server stress test

Hi everyone :) I'm in contact with the biggest simracing community in Poland as we want to start Polish championship. But since GP Bikes wasn't stable enough in terms of joining the server, I would like to stress test a server to be sure that everything is alright now.

Is it possible for Dibu to set a server? How you think "community", can we gather about 30 people at once to see if server can handle it?

I'm moving to Linux all the way from Windows in some time. My first try is Ubuntu, but that may change in some time. But to the point. I've heard, that its not a big problem runing GP Bikes on Linux. Is there anyone to explain how to do this?
