I see that here are currently 7 child boards under Racing section.

And I was wondering, what if there would be created another child section called e.g. Championship Archives, where all child boards about finished competitions (except Owners Club) would be moved?

Another thing, if there are two child boards with the same name, I recommed to recall them with adding e.g. Season 2 or S2.

Camel Honda Pons skins made for Honda RC213V from MotoGP (by Manu).

At this moment only 2 skins: Alex Barros (2005) and Max Biaggi (2004).
Suit and bike livery are not finished, and I didn't make helmet.

Everybody is creating his own skin for GP Bikes, sometimes with racing number in favourite own style.

So I decided to create a topic in which we can show our racing number style. Just upload a picture with your own number from the skin.

Here is my #92 in my own style: old (above, still used in my 125cc skin) and new (below).

(I wanted to write it in GP Bikes beta 6 WIP topic but probably my suggestions are more for a new topic so I decided to create a new one. Anyway, I'm only asking about some things, you don't must agree with them )

A little questions/suggestions about server.

1. Is (or will be) there any possibility to manually change riders' starting positions for race by host/server admin?
At this moment starting positions are decided by Qualifs results or set random by server. IMO with manual changing positions on starting grid, it would be sometimes easier to make during championships Qualifs on Saturday and Race on Sunday.

2. Start from pit-lane?
If rider won't make sighting/warm up lap, he would start in race from pit lane, 15s after riders on grid.

A little suggestion:

If we have a multiclass server, what about marking riders on server from each category by colors? E.g. if we have a server with classes GP500 & GP1000, riders from GP1000 marked with black color on the list and 500cc riders with blue color?

Something like this:

2. Rider 2 (Honda NSR500)
3. Rider 3 (Ducati GP12)
4. Rider 4 (Suzuki RGV500)

PL: Postanowiłem jeszcze raz zrobić polskie tłumaczenie do GP Bikes. Wcześniej zrobiłem to do wersji Beta 4, a teraz jest do wersji Beta 5b.

Jeszcze nie jest skończone, zamierzam to zaktualizować. Ale jeśli jest tu ktoś jeszcze z Polski - możecie mi pomóc z tłumaczeniem.

Plik polish.str należy umieścić w katalogu gpbikes/ui.

[1. Is there any possibility to add (not replace) another type of tyre?]

I have some questions about tyres in GP Bikes.

1. Is there any possibility to add (not replace) another type of tyre? E.g. in 1000cc class we have three types:
Qualify 1-2
Soft 1-4
Hard 1-4.

but is there any possibility to change it e.g. for this:
Extra Soft 1-2
Soft 1-2
Medium 1-3
Hard 1-3

2. Is there any possibility to make color stripes on tyres? E.g. yellow as Soft type, white as Medium type etc. (like Dunlop in Moto2/Moto3). On some new bikes there is no stripes on tyres but on default bikes there are stripes. What it's caused by? Other wheels?


I'm just only asking, I understand that creating anything stuff for Gp Bikes (track/bike) is very difficult - I respect your work. I'm only interested if it's possible.

Anybody would help me with making a skin for X-Lite helmet? Look at the pictures.

All other logos I'll put without any problems but I have only a problem with make this strip and stickers over the center of this helmet. And another problem would be that I'm maing my skins in GIMP instead of Photoshop, but if you could help me, here is link for GIMP file.

I'm sorry if there was similar topic on this forum. Anyway...

I see that at this moment there are only 2 options for classes: selecting only one of some categories (GP125, GP500, GP1000, 600 etc.) and selecting Open (to make a possibility to select whichever bike from whichever category).

But my question is: what if we could decide about selecting more than one category for server, but not with selecting Open option? For example, we are selecting only GP500 category and GP1000 category and on the server list category would be written as Open* and when we move our cursor on Open* text, there will be an info about categories (e.g. GP500 + GP1000 only) and all riders who are joining can select only bikes from these 2 categories.

What do you think about it?

It was on older PiBoSo forum and I'm not sure if there were any discussion about it here, so I decided to repeat my suggestion.

Last time, I played very old game called Superbike Racing.
Maybe it's the worst motorcycle game which I've ever seen, but there were a little thing which is not included in other motorcycle games. WATCH THIS

And I was wondering... what if it could be in GP Bikes instead of reseting bike? At this moment it's not possible to reset our bike correctly in some situations and it's not possible to reset our rider with bike during yellow flag, but when rider could run to the bike after crash and we could "run" to the bike (as in e.g. GTA ).

I know it's very complicated to create this animation for GP Bikes and it may take a lot of time, I understand. But on the other hand - GP Bikes is a simulator, still beta version...

...that I can't join any server?

Normally I could join any server even if I should wait max 15-30 seconds, but now I can't join although I'm waiting 5 minutes after selecting bike, server and clicking "Join". Anybody knows why?
