Hi Rodrigovis.

What class is your skin for? 125cc/500cc, or 1000cc? It is wise to name your file accordingly to save hassle identifying it. Thanks, mate. :)

I will upload to the "The Online Skins Download" list as soon as you let me know.

Everybody involved thank you for youre efforts, sorry it was a Core.exe festival, i dont know. With, without or with half off the resume files it didn't make one difference.
I will return with Beta4 to try that. In the meantime you can find me playing Arma3, Wilco out.

Thanks you peter for all your work organising this event. It was great to race with you guys on the 500cc machines. ;D

As you said, it was a bit of a core.exe festival; it was my first race so I didn't do too well, but I still enjoyed very much the whole event with all you guys. Can't wait for the day when we can all race online with no core. exe problems... GP Bikes will really take off then for sure! ;D

PS: I also have ARMA III..... I have Track IR5, though I'm Quite a newbie to ARMA III(I have not got ACRE installed or know how to operate acre, and I'm not well versed in squad procedures , but if you need any new recruits in your squad anytime I'm up for it! 8)

One thing most people don't know: if you reinstall (the same version, of course) over an existin installation, you DON'T lose all your profiles, settings, stats etc.

MaX.

That's good info indeed. Thanks max! 8)

Hi Guys!

I've uploaded a skin pack for this event.

You can download any skin you don't already have into your 500cc bikes paints folder to see the other competitors skins while in the online server.

I've only included the skins of those who bothered to let me know, so don't complain that your skin is missing, as I did post here to let me know your skin if you wanted to be included in the skin-pack. :P

Event Skin Pack Download Link: https://mega.co.nz/#F!qMdCxCzJ!MxxN5ylaBJgTfpizJtaTMQ

Enjoy the race guys! 8)

Was fun, I just need to work on consistency. To much falling.

Yes, was great fun last night... Don't know what happened to Peter?

Consistency; You'll get there and we all fall to a certain degree, don't worry about it, it's all part of the learning curve... Just practice practice practice, learn from others and then you'll start to get a feel for everything and it'll all start to feel automatic; your consistency will then come to you for sure.
I think braking in the proper way is a big part of the learning curve; A lot of people just slam the brakes on at the last minute and think they are doing a good job.... WRONG!..... You have to brake progressively as you enter your braking zone and then you will find that your stopping power is a lot more effective. If you just slam your brakes on then you are quite likely to have your tyres break away from you, especially when peeling into the corner while still braking hard.

Peter. Just a query because this could make a lot of difference to performance in the race..... are you allowing "Wheelie Help", and "Traction Control Help" for this event or not?

I'd personally like to see those disallowed for the event, but I'm easy whatever decision you decide.  :)

Brilliant! Re-live the good old days with the 2 stroke 500cc GP Bikes.... My favourite class! I'll certainly be there if I can.... I'll have to get plenty of practice in for some of you guys... Just keep looking behind, I'll be there in the distance. LOL..... Thanks Peter!! 8) ;D

Tracks / Re: dragster track
August 29, 2013, 09:58:15 AM
This is a great idea! Is this available for download?  8)

I would particularly like this for practising my starts, but for that may I suggest either a turn around circle at either end of the main track, or a double track run where you make a run up one track and then go round a small corner at the top which leads you onto the second track to make a run back to were you started from.

It's just a thought. :D
