Quote from: Daniel_Fi actualy would like to see the 500s with nice tyres aswell like a modern version of the 2 strokes like this 250 :P

Yes and we could justify corner speeds higher than those of current Moto2 bikes by making the Suter 500.
.....Ooooor, just edit the current 500 physics file a little bit to allow for higher leaning angles, which would be more than fine with me :D

We definitely need a 500 with better tyres.
The NSR is so ridiculously slow in corners even though it weighs less than the 600.
I know that even in 2002 the tyres were not that good but we could just call it call it 'Suter 500' and have at least Moto2 corner speeds.

I feel like this is going in the wrong direction. I don't want to fight with you.
It's an approximation, yes, but in my opinion it's good enough for our purposes.

Something different: Have you thought about making the RSW 500 or NSR500V? It would be quite interesting racing the other 500s with these bikes because of the differences in power and weight (and tyres).

I give up on you, these information come directly from Jan Thiel and Frits Overmars.
Anyway, Max, what you mentioned does not change the power curve, only how fast the engine revs.

I was talking about the dyno chart/power curve. Nothing else.

The RSA 250 is literally RSA 125 times 2. Port maps, cylinder heads, pipes, cylinders, everything is exactly the same.
In fact the RSA cylinders were originally developed for the 250 and then later copied for the 125.

This is a little late but here are the dyno charts of the RSA, RSW and the reed valve Derbi 125 of Lorenzo (at least the important part :D).
Since the RSA/RSW 250 used the same cylinders and pipes as the 125, their power curve would be the same multiplied by 2.

Probably :D
But it was in a race and I don't even know the wind speed that was set.

I fully agree with you, rc211v.
A complete, highly detailed MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 track and bike set would be amazing.
But apart from converting everything from the MotoGP games (which Milestone probably wouldn't approve :D), there is no way of doing it with our current resources.

I have to defend Milestone, in september I sent them a long email suggesting a few things (including a 500cc mode DLC) and they replied within a week:
QuoteDear Vincent,

Thanks for your message and nice words - we appreciate!
We will take into account your considerations for the future and see what can be done to improve our products.

Best regards,
Milestone Customer Support

BTW, I also played MotoGP 13 for a couple of months and after playing GP Bikes, I think the same way about it now as you do.
I mean, just look at this sh*t:

Anyway, apart from the stability problems, there are a few small things that could make GP Bikes perfect like a better sound engine or a fix for the random lowsides on bumpy tracks.

With braking and the right gearing I get 320 km/h but yeah, the 1000cc bikes in GPB are supposed to represent the 2003(?) MotoGP bike.

I also think that the sound needs to be changed.
In my opinion we also need a different sound for partly opened throttle on two strokes.

Anyway, as I said in the NSR 500 topic, it would be really great if we had more lean angle on the 500.

If you mean the Nose camera not working, then no, it's not just you.
