I could not express my feelings about this topic with just one GIF. I`m sorry for the inconvenience, this never happened before.

No need to surf on nostalgia, there are (occasionally) good, new sci-fi movies (I liked Ex Machina not long ago, for example).

That was such a dull film!
Not really new, but Sunshine and Moon are the first that come to mind when thinking of good and relatively recent sci-fi movies.

Why did you think it was Dull? That movie was great in many ways in my opinion. Sure it was not action packed, but that wasn`t the goal of it. I think the point was to make you think about the development of AI and wether that`s something we really want...and if we accomplish it, then what? Do you have the right to kill it, keep it captive, make it your slave, or does it need to be treated as any other human with the rights that come along with "humanity"?

One of the best Sci-Fi movies i`ve seen recently was Interstellar, everything about it grabbed me form the start, especially the soundtrack.

If you want to keep the mystery alive that surrounds the whole Alien/Xenomorph universe
Actually, I don't. 4 movies, more than enough.

for the love of David don`t do it!
D.Cronenberg ? :)

You`re a smart bloke, you`ll find out what this reference/joke means after you`ve seen Covenant which i`m sure you`ll do anyway since you`re as stubborn as a brick wall :P

Always sceptical about sequels/prequels made long time after the original.
I recently watched Prometheus and boy, does it look weird when you remember all the details of Alien (1979).
Now I'm hesitant about even watching Alien Covenant.

No need to surf on nostalgia, there are (occasionally) good, new sci-fi movies (I liked Ex Machina not long ago, for example).

Don`t, just don`t watch Covenant. Try and erase Prometheus from your mind, and act as if none of those movies ever happened. If you want to keep the mystery alive that surrounds the whole Alien/Xenomorph universe, for the love of David don`t do it!

Milestone can`t do anything right can they? They should take a look at DCS for proper plane physics...

Yea like Matty says it isn't supported as 3 separately drawn screens in game.
I use Eyefinity to set up the 3 screens (as one) then GPBIKES matches up the resolution.

It is a shame really because GPB is probably one of the few games that could run a seperately drawn 3 screen setup without having to have an uber rig to keep the FPS up.
Why would it e better withuot eyefinity/vision surround ?
Is there any penalty is using them ?

P.S.
Still waiting for a (serious) review of this: https://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-c49hg90/preview/

A while back PiBoSo posted something in the WRS section about setting up triple screens so they would run with each screen rendered seperatly. If i recall correctly Nick posted in it aswell, but to this day i never figured out how to get it working. But as GP Bikes is the same engine as WRS i recon proper triple screen support should be possible as PiBoSo was experimenting with it earlier...

Every half-assed wannabe sim on the market has fanboys, why not GPB?  :)

Because those half-assed wannabee sims don`t core.exe to desktop every 5 minutes?  ::)

Speaking of AI using the same physics with no external forces AT ALL:

Stunning. I'm ecstatic.

Nice, using a video of august 2016 while the AI had an overhaul 2 months ago  :-X

Creating AI that just follows the ideal line like a retard isn`t that big of a challenge, but I don`t think you guys realise how hard it is to create life like AI. AI is something very few games do right, and even fewer racing games. There is so much programming involved, so many variables...
It took Kunos at least 3 years and it still isn`t perfect ( although together with rFactor 2 the best atm)

it`s a whole different ball game...

I think the 2stroke sound is terrible. But maybe it is really hard to reproduce it in games.

Yeh, its hard. But i think they have enough resources to do it well.

The weird thing is that the 2 strokes in Ride 2 did sound very decent. The 2 strokes in MotoPG 17 sound utterly terrible. I don`t know what they are doing at milestone but it seems they just fuck up something on purpose every year.

Overall it`s a step in the right direction, as it is more or less Ride 2 with MotoGP bikes...

I think it was beta 4, where some of us dipped into the 25`s on Victoria with the Murusama.
If i recall correctly i think Alibaskins even managed a 24? Don`t know what the fast times with that combo are nowadays, but back then it was magic to hit those numbers ;)
