General Discussion / Re: GP Bikes beta8
February 24, 2016, 12:35:23 PM
Beta 8 is by far the best experience I've ever had with GP bikes, the bike is so much more stable and precise. No more of this tucking the front while on the gas business
that was in B7.
In fact I seriously played beta 7 about 4 times and honestly said to myself "RIP GPB" but this is a mega improvement and has completely got me back into the game.
So enjoy this screenshot because I know I did.

Cheers,
lawso.

Hi Guys,

Been Playing a fair bit lately because we have summer break so I decided to share my experience of these two games at the moment for me, which has been really good.
I was thinking about making a full length edit but I have 2 limiting factors, a tiny ssd and no real editing programs because of tiny ssd.

Anyway here it is:

The trouble with the front end is the result of trying to grab the front brake while still accelerating. Then after that he immediately grabs the clutch and the bike goes on the limiter until he hits the grass. If you play the video at .5 speed its easier to see.

Did you hear the bike on the limiter before he crashed?
The throttle got stuck and he had no choice but to lay it down.

Setups / Working GamePad Setup for WRS
July 25, 2015, 08:52:06 PM
Finally found a way to play WRS with my GamePad!

As we all know this game is pretty hard to play and just jumping into it with a game pad is damn impossible, even if you don't just jump into this game and you are experienced you still won't be able to play it with a gamepad.

Anyway I have found the solution:
Its all in the "wheel rotation" setting. When you set your advanced steering settings to "smooth", it makes it so there's a specific delay time for the wheel to make maximum rotation, But what I discovered is when you lessen the wheel rotation (how far the steering wheel comes around) it takes the same delay time to do less work, making the wheel turn much slower. this makes it way less touchy and a lot easier to play. The only downside is exiting the pits and turning around as you have less rotation on the wheel.

Setup:

Enjoy.

I have been testing moto3 at Catalunya for 2 days irl and jumped into GP Bikes being like "Ill try and beat my fastest moto3 time at Barcelona now that I have extensive knowledge of the track and can remember it easier" (which probably isn't going to help me anyway [my previous best in gpb is a 1:54 so I don't think I'm that high up]).
Aaaaaaaaany way go into the first corner and nearly crash because of the stupid banking that makes the front end immediately go stiff in gpb, After I just save a front end tuck I throw the bike and get a little bit out for shape from the bumps (which I can deal with cause it is pretty sketchy through there irl). Anyway after settling the bike I start to accelerate out of turn two past the apex still leaning and when I hit the up hill you know what happens? I TUCK THE %^&$#(*& FRONT FOR NO REASON. From personal experience I can tell you, NO ONE HAS EVER TUCKED THE FRONT ACCELERATING OUT OF TURN THREE AT CATALUNYA EVER. But its not only that turn, there are countless more banked and up hill turns have this problem, like silverstone turn 13, turns 3 and 9 at lemans, turn 1 at mosport, turn 3 at aragon and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Sorry for getting mad but seriously, fix this game and make it good again.

Hi Guys,

I put together a neat little team skin for the new Honda M3 on GPB called Tourism Australia Racing.
Before you rip me to shreds about how I didn't make both the suit or the livery and I just changed
someone elses a bit and I didn't ask permission and I'm a massive asshole...

Suit: _oDi_

Livery: RiccoChicco

I think Moto-online stats are only showing the V094 Silverstone track. The server is probably at the new V.095 by now? Hence no updates until the new track is reflected.

The good news is I am first on the V095 Silverstone, just try and prove otherwise. ;D :P
Nope, the Server is still using v094 and so is motonline but it's not updating, do I still qualify though cause I'm the 24th entrant?

Also the motonline site isnt (at the time of posting this) updating and it has my fastest lap at 1:59.4 but just to be safe here is my fastest lap at 1:57.9 which puts me in 18th:
