Last post by mdlp - December 04, 2023, 10:48:29 AMI have my 21b dedicated server exporting html results and replay files.
When accessing a b21 replay for the first time of a 20 rider grid there was no rider data present. No bikes visible and under the rider pull-down there were no entries.
Track conditions, race duration, smoke off the start line, dust particles etc were picked up.
I figured it was me but having tested this now with the M2 at Victoria, on two different dedicated servers I am of the conclusion this is a beta21b problem.
Has anyone else seen this or could possibly shed any light?

I've seen in the beta 21 changelog that we can now configure gain for vr tracking the rider position, so where do i configure that ? there is in the input page a configuration for rider lean gain but i think it is for controller input but not for the vr tracking no ? Is it in the UI or i need to go to profile.ini ?

Bug Reports / Error export results dedicated...
Last post by Ricoway46 - December 01, 2023, 07:36:39 PMI'm having problems exporting results from a dedicated server to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo v1.0 track. The file is being created but with a size of 0 (it doesn't write anything inside). Additionally, the server freezes and does not restart after the session.
This issue doesn't occur with other tracks.
Edit 3/12: The problem seems to be the xml, with "both" exporting html, xml always has zero size and the server still crashes. Only with "html" everything works and the server doesn't even crash.
Solution:
Found the problem. They're the quotes in the track name in the mod's .ini file.

I'm not a fast player but I don't consider myself slow either. Some players are very fast compared to me.
While hosting a DS the fastest player confirmed he was using the static onboard view.
I only use onboard dynamic view but recently I tried the static onboard view.
It's so much easier than dynamic onboard view, I think it's an unfair advantage. Maybe smaller than external view but still an unfair advantage over onboard dynamic view.
I have 2 suggestions:
1. An option to force onboard dynamic view only.
2. For the servers without forced view an option to view what camera a player is using. Maybe after their name:

Hi there, check out that option in your profile .ini file:

Setting "mode" to 0 locks the external view to the bike. The default value is 1, that makes the view follow the direction of travel.
Setting "dynamic" to 0 forces the external view at a fixed distance from the bike. The default value is 1, that moves the view closer or away from the bike based on speed and acceleration.
