Cheers Mystic,
I was all confused as I thought that 'naming fixed' implied it was all corrected and I was trying to resolve it to the old examples post from PiB (reversing rod and rocker positions).

However it appears that Linkage Rod Chassis is really a Linkage Rocker Chassis,i.e. the pro-link that I was after. At least by observation Linkage Rod Chassis has the shock top fixed and the shock bottom, rod(dogbones) and swingarm to the rocker with the other end of the rod to the chassis.

So I assume the names are wrong with only the link point names in BikeEd fixed - massively confusing but the only way not to break all the existing mod bikes. I guess all of the type 2.x suspensions are like this

BikeEd has the namings reversed

I understood that the naming had been 'reversed' to the correct terms, as before the rod was a rocker in GPB and the rocker was a rod.

Confusing AF, and Disappointing if its not been changed, despite various messages and complaints :( .

Link points are labelled OK in BikeED - rod is a rod, rocker is a rocker but the descriptions 'key' for GEOM does not appear to be updated - I would guess this cannot be changed without breaking existing mod bikes

When I try to create "Linkage Rocker Swingarm" to simulate Ducati 916 I find that the rocker is fixed to the rsusplower and thus the rsuspupper end is located and tracks the swingarm - the shock assembly is inverted as the rocker is above the swingarm with this arrangement. It would be the same for the Suzuki full floater which is a quoted example, basically the same arrangement apart from the rod termination point on the swingarm.

Is this intended? or can I expect 'problems' from this inverted arrangement?

Thank you

Please note that unfortunately at the moment the "Linkage Rocker Swingarm" geometry doesn't work correctly.

To make an "inverted" arrangement work ( for example the Panigale V2 ), please try changing "Ref. Angle", for example to 90, from the default -90.

Thank you for the reply - I was also going to ask what the reference angle was for. Is reference angle just a nominal indication of direction or should I align it more accurately with the bike shock assembly?

When I change the reference angle direction it appears to 'mirror' the linkage pivots longitudinally which is unfortunately incorrect for my application
