I am sure it will be even better than the NR Blacky and thanks for teaching me about file names for parts. If you have any more would love them.

I could not resist making the pipe an Aky as I had to do it anyways lol

I did the exhaust in about 3 mins finding the sizing and direction to put my images and it came out okay after about an hours cutting pasting from a real photo.

Problem is the internal end uses the same paint part as the outer lol.

I posted a link for the pnt and tga files so when you come to doing the pipe it is quick for you to see the layout.

Grimm and I are huge fans of this bike and maybe I can help with some of the graphics to reduce load on you as Grimm is on sound. I dont think he has your bike yet though?

I have had more fun doing this than any other bike, thanks Blacky

Oh and on subject........................RIDES 900 sucks balls compared to yours  ;D

Never got a copy of it, but would love to give it a whirl if it's possible. Gotta put a mile or two more on my 900 and get a small fan to bring with to the place with the dyno, but I'll be talking to my brother about setting up the dyno time soon. I now have 3 different recording devices, 2 camera's with audio recording capability, and permission to set them all up before a few runs, so, there is no doubt, what so ever, there will be enough good, clean, raw and gritty samples to pull sound from to get an absolutely exquisite sound library put together for a clean and realistic sound for Black's 900RR.

As for other bikes, depending on what works best to record sound, I may be able to get my YZ426 run in on the dyno over the winter, and I have access to quite a range of bikes I can talk to the owners of and get sound samples from them as well. I know I've discussed that all before, but, been busy and haven't mentioned weather or not I was working that direction yet. But, I am. ;)

Just an observation but the ambient occlusion looks upside down - as if a strong light source was left below the model when it was computed.

doubledragoncc

Thanks H, I know it is WIP and thought it was missing UV or something but you hit the nail on the head. Been hard to get it right with the lighting upside down.

Hey Blacky you an Aussie lol. It will look the great when you move back to Italy(think thats where your from) lol

The AO map is right (if i remember well), but the problem is almost surely the bump map, because I had a similar problem with the AGV helmets

@DD I probably used the same texture for rims and steering levers  :P

We are a little OT  :-\

It looks like MS are uping the AI in RIDE2 so you have a better experience?

From the Devs:

The Virtua Rider, already used in the first installment of Ride, returns to Ride 2 with new functionality. As in the first title, Virtua Riders are reproductions driven by the AI profiles of your friends list: they maintain their main characteristics and actively participate in races. In addition to some default choices for those without an online connection, you can browse your friends list in this section, and, if they own a copy of Ride 2, download their respective Virtua Riders. The latter, as well as showing a 1 to 8 score based on the quality of their recorded race times, will maintain a riding style similar to their owners, as well as using their favourite bike and chosen gear. They will of course keep updating as your friends continue the game experience. When forming the team, you can choose a "right-hand man" and two other teammates: the first will be an ever-present in your races, even in the Career, the other two will accompany you in Team VS Team challenges, which we will discuss next week.

Could be interesting

See.......... that was on topic  ;D

Blackheart

I think it's garbage, i want a fun game (arcade is fine, but it should be fun) and with a good graphic engine, in the vids i see the same engine from RIDE1 ...

doubledragoncc

But I think if they go the same as they did with VRTG then the graphics will flow better at lower FPS without stutter. VRTG is low FPS but no stutter. RIDE is shite for graphics engine.

Wait n see

Blackheart

Is the complete absence of any bike physics intentional? Looks like it would get boring after about 30 seconds  :(
