Question Regarding Moto 3 Tyres...

So I have been playing with different tires on the Moto 3 bike. With everything else being equal it seems as though Medium 4s are harder than Medium 1s. Am I imagining this  or are my impressions correct?

Hi uberslug. They are the same, there's no way to make any diferences between sets of the same compound.

Thank you. The next logical question is why have four choices for the same tyre?

Because they wear out. On (great) servers that have 'limited Tyre's ' setting set you must choose which tyre to use being careful to save yourself a fresh set for the race.
Always check the server EVENT INFO for all the good information - Tyres, temperatures, race distance etc
People often forget this.

So basically one has four sets of the same tyre? Good to know. I have yet to do a race where such restrictions were in place [at least as far as I know].

Yep. But it depends on what bike and what the modders gives. Sometimes only 2 sets often with Qualifiers.

The great PeterV (Peter the Great?) uses many server tricks and usually runs Limited Tyre's for events.

People who don't check the racing event often start on worn out tyres..then cry a bit.

They are the same people who ask how many laps the race e is  ::) see if you can spot one.
