Hi.

I don't understand one thing on the latests BikeEd.

When you create/modify a bike's geometry, once it's saved, the Right/left axis parameters had a value diferent from 0.

chassis_mass = -1.62463e-011, 0.547245, 0.0400825

And in the BikeEd it looks centered from the top view.

I tried to change it all manually, to repositioned all the rigth/left axis in 0:

chassis_mass = 0, 0.547245, 0.0400825

and I don't know if it's a placebo effect, but feels more stable.

The question is: The values diferent from 0 are a BikeEd bug or it is a sort of diferent calculation done in the latests betas?

1.6e-11 is 16 picometers. I'd gladly side with placebo effect :)

Could be a bug, or some sort of float-related issue (but I thought integers up to a given point were exact in float).
Anyway, it shouldn't make any difference.

Bike tools updated:
https://www.kartracing-pro.com/downloads/vt.zip

BikeEd changelog:
- improved rear suspension geometry editing and display
- the rocker and rod length must now be set directly
- the "Rear Suspension" slider now sets the swingarm angle when "Rear Suspension Update" is disabled
- wings support

- a very simple tool to approximate the chassis inertia has been integrated.
When loading a GEOM file, BikeEd automatically reads a file named "inertia.cfg", if it exists in the same path.
Example file, used for the stock M2 bike:
elem0
{
 name = engine
 mass = 57.73
 pos = 0, 0.42, 0.05
 size = 0.5, 0.35, 0.35
}
elem1
{
 name = chassis
 mass = 22
 pos = 0, 0.55, 0.1
 size = 0.52, 0.85, 0.61
}
elem2
{
 name = nose
 mass = 5
 pos = 0, 0.8, 0.58
 size = 0.5, 0.4, 0.35
}
elem3
{
 name = tail
 mass = 8
 pos = 0, 0.8, -0.4
 size = 0.3, 0.35, 0.4
}
The inertia parameters and mass position are then displayed on screen.
It is possible to hide the inertia data: Toolbar -> Draw -> Chassis Inertia

Important
- to save the GEOM file for GP Bikes Beta16, the following lines must be added to the file "bikeed.ini":
[save]
legacy=1
"La perfezione non è il nostro obiettivo, è la nostra tendenza".

BikeEd changelog:
- fixed the linkage suspension nomenclature
- the legacy save has been dropped. Now BikeEd writes data only in a new format, that cannot be read in GP Bikes beta17 and older. However, please note that both BikeEd and GP Bikes can still read the all the old formats.

When I try to create 'Linkage Rod Swingarm' my shock top mount position is tracking with the swingarm movement instead of staying fixed to the chassis and I get a crazy rate curve.

Shouldn't it be 'Linkage Rod Chassis' Then? IK my cbr has the shock top mounted to the swingarm IRL so that is a thing. Infact its not mounted to the chassis at all?
