Nice reading, as always.

At the time of the Rossi-Lorenzo brawl, I said that it was for me inconceivable that Yamaha could/would keep the two.
I honestly think it has been another mistake from them to try to do so for this year: there was not a snowball's chance in hell that it could have worked out fine.

But I disagree on one point: comparing when Rossi went to Ducati to Lorenzo doing the same next year, many tend to say "Yeah, but the ducati right now is a better bike".
But when Rossi signed, nobody (and I do mean nobody, except maybe Stoner) was expecting Ducati to be as bad as it finally was.
So yes, if Jorge wins on the Duc, he'll have all the right to rub it in many faces. Of course we all know he'll do that in the wrong, unclassy manner as always, but that' just him :)

Good read, as always davidboda46,

Now give this a once over, Marc Marquez has yet to sign a contract with HRC so what if he
like Jorge says "I want to win on two different bikes", and jumps on the Suzuki? Hmmmm!
Just a thought. That would mean HRC is open for maybe Rins, Pol Esp, or Cal Cru. Let's not
forget Aprilia and KTM still have seats open. Maybe Aleix on the KTM or the Aprilia. Which also
leaves Bradl and Bautista for a possible KTM seat. These are just some random thoughts.
I think there is still some silly season left to unfold. How it unfolds will be something to see for sure.
I didn't lose the race, I ran out of laps.

The chances of Marquez going to Suzuki next year are thinner then the chances of Marquez participating to the next Olympic's judo tournament (in the 100+Kg category) :)

Oi! Manuel Poggiali played football for Pennarossa, a football club of San Marino. :o So you never know. lol  ;D

Max - Ducati's results (all the riders, not just Stoner) was a pretty good indicator of how bad the bike was. Same with Honda this year. I think Rossi and Burgess big misstake was hybris, they thought they could "fix" the bike as they did with the Yamaha after Rossi left Honda. But there was a big difference between japanese and italian bike design phylosophy and generall attitude. They did not take that into account.

Doc - I absolutely do not believe that Marc is going anywhere, and Honda would probably chain him to the bike before they let him go. I think the contract is taking long time because the lawyers are debating the fine details. Had no idea about Poggiali! :)

It was good enough for Stoner though, and I'm sure Rossi thought "If he can do it, I can too": riders (all) are like kids, deep down :)

Yeah :) And Rossi has since admitted that he has no idea how Stoner could do what he did on that bike.
