As there is no gpbikes folder in the install folder, tracks work but bikes and rider dont. They will show but crash to desktop if used when you go to track???

I always ride with my customers on new years eve and live stream but now I cant so please look into this as I am screwed  right now and you have not said how to and what to do with mods!!!

Just giving info

Let's get into the serene Christmas spirit DD! Let's save some caps and exclamation marks for 2022.

It's only been a couple hours. You know it takes some time until documentation comes out after a new beta release. Also it usually takes a b version for everything to work as normal. ;)

Can't you still run a 19b server online?
I had to try..

doubledragoncc

Chris I need it sorted so I can live stream and ride with customers around the world and not many days left

Happy Christmas m8 and great new year

The process hasn't changed. You just don't need to use the /gpbikes/ folder anymore

A rule of thumb, Where ever the bike.pkz or track.pkz or tyre.pkz etc file is, a folder can be placed with the same name.

The process doesn't change as far as I know, But the only method I've seen that works is using the GPB directory method, with "Bikes" "Tracks" folders etc.

The /mods folder doesn't seem to work.

Main difference would be the location of the GPB Directory.

VSMaster

I tried with one of my mod by putting it in the mods directory and was fine. Manus rider works too

But Pip aint said wher you have to put it and thats the problem as is no longer a gpbikes under ther install folder and so far in testin only tracks work all othrers give CTD

Bad bike or tyres installed would be my best guess

There is no need for a guide. It's still the same installation process.

Please note that the recommended way to install mods is in "Documents"/PiBoSo/GP Bikes/mods/

Im using the old method in the programe files x86.. mods folder in documents is on my boot drive so i like to keep it clear... same for mxbikes. Works fine so far.

Hawk

Couldn't the GPBikes-installer be programmed to actually create the "/Mods" folder with all the subfolders that could be needed for Mods together with the option for the "User" to select just where he/she wants that "/Mods" folder to be created on their PC? It's simply information the GPBikes .ini file could use on start-up, isn't it?

Just saying because it would make install so much simpler and less confusing for people, especially those that haven't a clue about their way around a PC...... Just saying.  :)

Vini

Best way would be if the installer coulda actually update your game directory.
Replacing only the new files and moving around mod files if the folder structure has been changed.
