Hahaha!! Looking at that I'm wondering just why he fell off the bike in the first place? Lol!!  ;D ;D

Very nice video above Yohji, showing the tyre deformation.  8)

This is why I'm wondering if the current tyre model is sufficient to very accurately model deformation of the tyre and therefore contact patch size on a motorcycle?

The tyres are a crucial link in the chain of how a bike handles, that is why I question the tyre model in GPB because the tyres don't seem to me to be reacting how they should in real life right now in my opinion?

It would be nice to see the deformations graphically in the tyres as we ride the bikes(like rFactor2 has for the car tyres), but that is not required to actually have them deforming mathematically in the programme physics.... so I'm just wondering if the "Magic tyre formula" does actually calculate tyre deformation and the varying resultant contact patch size?

But if there is still physics changes that need to be made or tweaked in GPB then this is maybe what is making me doubt the GPB tyre model.  Let's see what Beta 8 brings. :)
