Will an R1 slipper clutch fit on a 2001 R6?

you even can´t use the slipper of the R6 2006-
i know someone that modified the clutch to use this one in a 2003 r6 but you need machines and special tools.
if you wan´t a good and cheap slipper you can buy the TSS or Yoyodyne unit. Works good and is not as expensive as the Suter, Sigma or any other manufacturer.

I looked at the sigma slipper its around £500.. I wanted this R1 clutch to fit it was free 

I try to spend as little as possible with racing.. But, it never works lol  anyway a slipper will be a worthy upgrade so why not

Bob, even if it did fit, unless you can fine tune it, it would be a bit useless as it is set up for the R1's engine inertia and not the R6.

Ok no worries the idea is scrapped  the guy who tuned my bike could probably do something with it but it sounds as though its not worth the hassle.. I have no idea so thanks for the info!
