Steer grips type

Noticed a little problem tonight while playing with the gfx.cfg.

When trying to set to grip type to 2 (instead of 1), it starts to disappear, to reappear, etc. The biggest problem is an important FPS drop : 40FPS with grip type set at 1, 12FPS while set on 2. No idea what's happening
