Here is a link to the beta version of the track I have been working on. You can check the Dirt Oval Content thread to follow along with its development. There is still alot of work to be done but I wanted to make a release to get some input and give people another track option.

Do you want this track version to be placed into the WRS track database? Or do you want to leave it till V1.0?

Wow, tiny little bull ring! Man is it fun! I can see some great racing on this thing I ran very comparable times whether running down on the inside or laying smooth laps around the cushion. The track deformation is awesomely done too. I just can't get over how awesome that aspect of this sim is and there is no doubt this will be the go to dirt oval sim if we can just get PiBoSo to put in a few more key aspects like race formats, and dirt specific garage settings.

Keep up the good work Torque! And I would love to turn some laps on this baby with you guys.

Track is fun and thanks for the setup. After 60 laps I was just getting into the groove..
Presumably a track fence will be added at some point? As it is racing here will just atract hooligans. I found by accident it is possible to jump the entire track.

I sure will! Will take me a few days to think it over and make sure I cover all of the most important things. You've got such a great start to this. A few additions like mentioned, and this will not be a niche title in the dirt world. It will be a must have title.  I'll get to work.

There is no plan to put a wall entirely around the racing surface. I do plan to add a fence and trees around the track to prevent people from straying off too far or going off the edge of the map.

We have some major testing to do on the deformation of the track. You have to remember that each car on the track multiplies how fast it will deform. A race with 15 cars would only take 4 laps to get the track to the point you did by yourself.

Ok, thanks Torque.
Just to save any possible literary confusion, my 'getting into the groove' comment was not aimed at the track deformation, just that I got to the point where I was FOCUSED and doing fast consistent laps with minimal effort. It felt good at this track.
Unfortunately I doubt I'll be racing with any more than me, I am in the UK..

I haven't run the sprints in a long time since we have been working on a Street Stock mod. I don't remember which setup worked. I tried running the sprints the other night and none of them seemed right.
