Somewhere in this forum there is a few discussions about it and I believe the (was it GPBItalia?) modders had even got as far as making the models for WRS. Maybe they posted a link to their own site where you could see them but I remember getting dizzy about it at the time and talking with them when I though they had done it for GpBikes.

So it can be done and I think PiB said they would be in TTB so the future is bright.

I'm pretty sure Ricco once made a sidecar model(It looked really good too!  ), but if I remember rightly he lost it in a HDD crash.

The vehicle dynamics of a sidecar is indeed closer to a car than a bike.
However, a sidecar is a beast of its own, because of steering and suspension geometry and, most important, the moving passenger.
If you have the patience to wait, there will be simulated sidecars ( F2 class to be precise ) in an upcoming project
