Actually in the TrackIR App you can adjust the movement scale of your head movement so that you only have to move your head as little degree as you prefer to look 180 deg behind you.  ;)
Any head tracking device can do that. The problem is that it doesn't feel so natural if turning your head 10deg turns your virtual head 180deg.
You get used to it easy enough.  ;)

I am expecting the big plus to be depth perception - do you get a good impression of distance using the head set?

We will not know how much bike to model until PB releases the next beta with support and it will depend how far we can move the rider body off the center of view. At the moment he is quite rigidly fixed to the center llne so we will not be able to look 'around' the bike to see wheels/tyres etc.

Does look good though - just the price  :(

It's just like the real thing but with pixels, so yes.  8)
