  • Unrar rider.pkz from youre GPBikes installation (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider.pkz)
  • Unrar it too you're GPBikes installation path  (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\)
  • Unrar the helmet too you're GPBikes installation path  (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\)
  • Unrar or copy *helmet paints (if you have any) too you're GPBikes installation path  (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shoei X-Spirit I\paints)
*If you have any helmet paints/liveries then you have to put them in a .pnt file (for example: Shoei X-Spirit I black.pnt)
You can create an .pnt file with PaintEd... GPBikes Downloads

example:helmets folder location
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shoei X-Spirit I
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shark

example:paints folder location
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shoei X-Spirit I\paints
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shark\paints

example:helmet paints file location
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shoeï X-Spirit I\paints\Shoei X-Spirit I black.pnt
C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\SharkI\paints\Shark black.pnt

Now you can select youre helmet type and paint/liveries from the bike selection menu in game.
Enjoy !

Most likely, unrar of rider.pkz is not necessary: simply create (in C:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes) a folder named "rider" and a sub-folder named "helmets" and put there your new helmets. This avoids messing up the original helmet.

The same is also valid for bikes.pkz, tracks.pkz etc.

I know MAx but then they read different things gets confusing sometimes :p

But you're explanation works as well and is indeed a safe method for the original files.

Don't any of you guys run 64bit OS? I installed GP Bikes into my 64bit "Program Files" folder not the 32bit "Program Files(x86)".

Are there any benefits installing in the 64bit "Program Files" folder; I mean does it have any speed advantages or not(I would presume so)?

Assuming a software is properly written I think it doesn't make a difference where you put it. In any case I don't think gpb has 64bit specific code.

It's just that I remember seeing a post by Piboso stating that you can install for either 32bit or 64bit, and I noticed that some guys were installing in the 32bit program files folder even though they use 64bit OS, so just wondered if gpbikes had any advantage if installed in 64bit folder or not. :)

After trying it two weeks I must say it's not possible to install and choice helmet paintings.
I created this structure:
QuoteC:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\Shoei X-Spirit I\paints
and put in the paints Folder some pnt files like "Alex Marquez #73 2017.pnt" I can't choice a helmet or helmet paint.
If I added the following:
QuoteC:\Program Files (x86)\GP Bikes\gpbikes\rider\helmets\default\paints
and put some pnt files in it I can choice default helmet and some helmet paintings, but nothing happens, I see only the standard painting.  :-[

What is wrong?

RobinHoodUKIP

really struggling to find the correct files to add the mods, i think ive downloaded the demo to my d drive, but still i should be able to easily find it?
heres what i see.
