Hi,

How i can do to connect two or many computer to the same race without internet, just local game.
Somebody have an idea? i 'm lost... :-\

Thanks

teeds

The game will launch offline ok, so although I've not tried it you should just be able to use the "Host Local" button on the top left of the "Browse Local" screen you see after clicking "Race" on the main menu. Once loaded others should then see the game listed in the Browse Local screen. All windows firewall dependent of course.

Thank you Teeds, I've tried this but with  dedicated server run on other computer, i dont see my server.
The firewall is off, and i dont use my router because i am in local. i dont know why i dont see my server.
I will try without dedicated server, just in host local.

teeds

Only thing I can say is my dedicated servers that run online do show in my local list too. You're right with local you don't need to worry about the router firewall but that might not be true for a dedi server, I don't know. Hopefully Host Local will work for you.

That used to be the case for me too, but right now I don't see my dedicated local server in the local page, only in the world page. No idea why.

I've tried to host local in game but i dont see anything in the local page...

Azazel

After many tests, I succeeded to find my dedicated server in the world page.
I think only world mode, works.
I dont have open any port on my router.
I dont understand but it works.

Still showing for me, using the stock port.

Server and client on the same PC ?
Which stock port ?  Because using 10510 seems to cause troubles: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=26.0

No my GPB dedi server is on another pc using 10510. I mentioned this as my MXB servers do not run stock ports and none of them show in the local screen, not tested to see if they show using stock ports though. Wanted to leave the stock port free for hosting on my gaming pc.

Hmmm ... could be that local servers are only seen if they run stock ports ...
But server and client on same PC with server on stock ports seems not to work fine.

Maybe worth a few lines of exra clarifications in the documentation.

I've got an information about local game by Piboso support:
"When creating a dedicated server on the same computer of one of the clients, a port other than the default one ( 10510 ) must be used.
For a dedicated server to be visible in the local server browser of GP Bikes, the port must be in the range 10510 - 10513"

Interesting, will try.

Should probably be added to the documentation session.

Is the port range the same for KRP, MXB and WRS ?

Azazel

I dont know, i asked for GP Bike. It have to try...

HornetMaX

Works for me with these:

GPB: 10511
MXB: 10411
KRP: 10611
WRS: 10512 (just to have it different from GPB)
