This has to be the most brittle game I have ever tried. The amount of times I have had to re download and wipe the old data because the game will just refuse to open.

I guess I can have no more than around 10 or so bikes before it completely freaks out.

Are you sure it's the game breaking each time

In the 5 years i've been playing GPB i have had to re-install it once maybe twice

Any crashes that occour is normally due to mod content or messing around with game files, So always make backups of any files before modifing and if something breaks the game after installing it then get rid of it before re-installing the game.
