Paint software

What do you guys use?
Im going to try GIMP, i used to use that for GP500

Well GIMP doesn't work.
I'm slowly starting to lose patience with paints in this game

You mean the GPB .pnt ? You need PaintEd for that (http://www.gp-bikes.com/?page=downloads).

The .pnt file used by GPB is just an assembly of a bunch of .tga files with specific names (+ some additional info).
You edit the .tga files with whatever you like (including GIMP), then you assemble them using PaintEd.

I guess you really need a tutorial on that: anybody has one at hand ?

P.S.
If you're new to software like GIMP/Photoshop, you should probably use something easier like Paint.net

hi guys i have a problem.
i was trying out paint.net, installed psd plugin and so on. then i unpacked the files with painted from *pnt to *tga. but if i save the files like tga how can i convert them back to pnt for the game?

Put all your TGA's in a folder then use paint to read director, then name then, and hit Pack, and save.

Sorry for my late reply. Does anybody know where i get blank templates of livery and tge suit of the rider? Or can i get them out of the original game files somehow?
