Please use next time Google Translate - maybe it won't translate in 100% what you want to say but at least some people would understand you more.

This bike name is Suzuki GSX-RR.

But very good job. I really wanted to see this bike in game.

Hi there.

I uploaded the new motogp suzuki wich you can  download in  the link below.

Hoping you'll enjoy it.

I precise that some haven't seen it.

It has the physics of the murasama.

(i think the rest can be understood easily ;) )

Great Job Franco, Thanks for the test and hope to see more of your work in the future.  ;)

Thx Franco !

A couple of remarks: there's no model for the 1st person view. Also, the rear brake caliper seems to be way off the disc (actually the disc seems off its axle too). Front brake calipers too seem a bit off the disc.

===

Merci Franco !

Quelques remarques: il y a pas de modele pour la vue en 1ere personne. Aussi, l'etrier arriere est tres loin du disque (le disuqe lui meme semble etre mal place par rapport a son axe). Meme les etriers avant semblent un peu eloignes des disques.

Merci Franco. C'est bon,

Thats all I can type in French but thankyou very much. I am downloading and looking forward to this bike. Just saw its for beta 5 and 6, great. I have to use 5b for the M1 and RC8R so this is great.

I am the Ghostrider!!!!!!!!!!......................well the ghostbike rider at least.

Love the bike dude, when will it get 1st person view? I really need this and the other MotoGP bikes from 2015 for a reason and this is great bike to have, but can you make it so that the pnt file can be opened and have files to do all of the bike including metals and plastics like on the newest 990 version. You have done a fine job on this bike and I look forward to seeing it finished.

Hi Franco, just took it for a spin, great work man, but still no bike in first person, do you know when you will get that done or did I do something wrong, which is normal for me as Im an old fart.

I do not understand, I do not have this problem at home, there may be a problem with the Suzuki-2015-v3.ini file.
I do not know how to fix it, sorry.
By working this file must solve the problem.

Yep there is no onboard view at all. Since I only use Helmet view it makes in unplayable. :(

How to improve this?
Title: Re: suzuki gsx-r
Post by: doubledragoncc on March 13, 2015, 11:37:35 AM
You need to make it so there is a bike in the onboard view.

Do you only ride 3rd person by any chance?

The best thing would be to ask another Modder if they can help you. This is a great bike but it MUST have an onboard view. I never ride 3rd person and many others too.
Just ask and someone will help you and that means your other bikes will have all views too.

Keep up the great work franco.

I would recommend asking(send them a forum PM(Personal Message)) "Alone", " _oDi_ ", or "JC#21". I'm sure one of them will know for sure how to implement the first person view.

Also look here: http://gpbikes-mods.wikia.com/wiki/GPBikes_mods_Wiki (http://gpbikes-mods.wikia.com/wiki/GPBikes_mods_Wiki)  you might be able to figure it out from this information.  ;)

I look at other bikes, it seems that almost all have this problem, it should not be an easy problem to solve. I will look,
but it is not my priority now, but if someone want to make that I agree.

What do you mean ?!

All the bikes we have do have 1st person view. I'm not sure you've understood the problem: take one of the default bikes (or any other bikes, for that matter) go on track.
If you're in 3rd person view you're looking at the bike from behind. Now press 'V' (default key for view change) as look what happens. Then do the same with your bike.

Franco it is one of the most important aspects of GPB to be able to ride in the ON BOARD view. I hope you can fix it.

Thanks for the work mate

you have to change the entire file, I tested and I see the cockpit to the first person.
(download on the pc of my wife, do an external manipulation).
Can you show me a picture of what's wrong ?, I put my photo of the first person.

you must take the files chassis_c.edf and gfx.cfg.
Than replace it in the database file.
Never having done all the options, I did not know he had it all.
Thank you for your understanding.
The files are in the highest link in the topic.

Nice bike!!  8)

Super stable... How is that with 990 physics??
Title: Re: suzuki gsx-r
Post by: franco pizzagalli on March 18, 2015, 06:31:51 AM
I do not know, but I is (sure ) base of physic marusama  990, but the geometry is a little different, because the dimensions of the Suzuki is not exactly the same.
Physics dgpbikes still a big fog for me, but I work to understand.

Hi Franco,

comparing the geom of the murasama to your one, there are some differences that make me think you've used the .geom of the murasama from an old GPB beta.

Also, changing the .geom you've actually changed the physics.

Post by: franco pizzagalli on March 18, 2015, 09:08:18 AM
Hi Max,
you are right, the base was beta 5, because my beta 6 crashed often.

I thought that the difference between beta6 and beta5 for file.geom was only the position of the driver.

Do you think we should take the Murasama beta 6 for physics motorcycles for beta6 ?

Now i have find a new driver fo my graphic card and beta6 crash less, but he crash more beta 5 ( beta 5 crash never )

Could this be an answer to why GPB bikes in 6 are having problems? If the basics of the beta5 are better Piboso should be told so he can figure out why. i may be a big help for the physics issues as this bike is great to ride.

Great work again to you Franco, love it

I thought that the difference between beta6 and beta5 for file.geom was only the position of the driver.
I think there's at least one new parameter in the .geom (pressure_center2) and maybe some params that were a zero before and are not zero in beta6 (maybe meaning that they were not used before and are used now).

But notice also that your .cfg is form beta5 too, and there are many differences there between beta5 and beta6 (chassis flex, aero, suspensions).

That makes me think that it would be interesting to have the murasama .cfg and .geom of all GPB betas and track the differences.

Well, it's totally up to you. I think that Noss too used the beta5 murasama physics as a base for his RCV and people do like how the bike handles, more than beta6's murasama.

I don't know which differences are causing that: I planned to do some testing but I'm less and less motivated to spend time on GPB trying to understand stuff, I'm moving more into a "just play" (and wait) approach.

Anyway, Noss has released a new version of his RCV in which some differences are now gone, I still have to try it.

1st person view works almost fine now.

Missing things: working dashboard and (maybe) some dark paint/texture paint on the inside of the fairing.

Good job Franco !
