Older track folder??
The previous mod folder ?
Bike bike folder hahaha
Thank you! lol
Thx Loopa i try now! ;D
If you want a Bike Stand in the Showroom add this to your Configuration Settings File.
This is the file inside the bike folder with the gear next to it.
This file can best be opened with Notepad.
[showroom]
frontsusp_length = 0.08
rearsusp_rot = -2
stand = default
BTW nice update ;)

Works quite well on Zuera, better than in GP Bikes :))
Just don't put it in 3rd person, it looks a little ridiculous :P
Gonna try it. Thank you guys :)

Wow thats nice! No changes needed??
Nope, just copy and paste (well i did and it worked a treat) ;D
yes it works and you need to change the three rider settings (mass and view...) to these of the 250 standard bike. then it looks good in mxb.
just did a half lap ;)
€: had a core with a modified setup. when i just go to the track othout any changes in setup it works.

I did use a past setup for my first time round and the bike was nearly unrideable, with the default setup the bike was fine, old setups might be beyond current setting limitations.
i think i changed the wrong thing. now it themes to work with this one:
Looks nice, wanted to give it a blast in MXB but I get:
'ODE INTERNAL ERROR 1
assertion "bNormalizationResult" failed in ../../include\ode/odemath.h:326'
i just copyed zuera and the kx450f bikefolder in bikes/tracks.
Quotei just copyed zuera and the kx450f bikefolder in bikes/tracks.
in GPB or MXB?
Impressions:
Tested the KXf yesterday.
Not bad but i have a few issues:
- after about 4-5 laps the soft tyres are getting really slippery , had many front losses.
- after crash and rejoining on track it is sometimes really hard to start....lean input forces the bike to crash again, had to be very gently on the steer input to get a good going.
- the curbs in zuera are way to slippery...it forces an direct crash driving above them. (don´t know if it´s mainly caused by track or by bike)
- the rear sliding ability at acceleration is less then "real" or in other words a slide is hard to control
- i don´t see a reason for the rear sprocket only availabe in two step sizes (44,46,48,..). Why don´t use odd-numbered sizes?
These are the first impression after 15 laps. ;D
And i´m 8 seconds slower than Davide..... ??? ;D (just joking)

Copy zuera from GP Bikes to MX Bikes
Only tried very quickly, was a bit surprised by how much it can lean ... almost 60deg !
MaX.
try out the A-7000 road ;)
https://www.youtube.com/v/nwjsQA0n9qs
i try out different bitrates and that was not a good choice ;)
e: i noticed that i did not use the sit function.
when its possible to modify riding styles it would be nice when the rider puts out the foot down in turns when he stands on the bike and when he sits on it then he would drag the knee down in turns.

Sorry i don´t want to upset you but your feedback "converting" the KXf and the track to MXB is off-topic isn´t it ?
The KXf was developed for GPB and i think it should be tested in GPB only to get a proper feedback of the development. ;)

Yes there is a problem with the front soft tyre it warms up too much and you loose the front, it depends also on the track if you push too much the front or not. It will be fixed in the next update.
Starts in gpbikes are quite hard. In this bike looks even harder but is so difficult to smooth this behavior. About curbs is because zuera, in other tracks they are ok
With the sprockets you mean why not put steps of one instead of two??

Too bad :( now it is very fun to ride!
Would u change the bike folder name so that it fits the bikemod rules?
Otherwise it will not be included in the next bm.
I've made a version if you are happy for me to use it in the bike MOD?
You will want to update your version as well if you would like to use it :)

I think there is no problem from both parts (yan and me) to change the name so it can be implemented in the biked.
About the templates and skins. Is there any way to rip the bike so we can take out the texture of the skin? I have no idea if it is possible and how to do it

I think that the problem is the OpenGL, if I remember correctly the programs do not work well with this ???
Tomorrow I try something,
if someone more experienced than me want to try...(https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jbBDJ7_BSmw/hqdefault.jpg)

After a quick test, this is the result:
(http://s28.postimg.org/m1ibofgmh/3dsmax_29_12_2015_21_59_18_353.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/m1ibofgmh/)
But I do not understand why I only see some textures on the model ... :o
EDIT: Obviously the rip is just to try to create a template for the bike livery :P
Making a template isn't the more difficult part. The original model is quite easy to find, it take about 15 minutes to create a beautiful template in 3ds max once you get the model.
The thing is to know what's the name has been used at model export. Usually it's "livery", but if it's not a standard name, it can be impossible to skin a bike without re-exporting the 3D. I thing the first thing to do is to verify the name by trying with a blank texture before anything else. I haven't GPB in my computer right know so I can't test by myself :-X

Thx Ricco! If when u have time can u try is better, I'm pretty donkey here ;D
If I understand what you mean, I tried to make a texture nominated livery, but some parts (seat and 1 exhaust) are not white :-[

It's a good start, even if I'm more concerned by the seat ;D Now all you have to do is to find all the names you can imagine for both exhaust and seat, which can be veeeeeeeeery long :(
If you find everything, I'l take a look to make the template needed.

Great! ;D
I think the biggest problem I've noticed, even when it first released was the shade seems to be reverse. The shadow is coming from the top of the bike no matter where the light source is.
Really bugs me. lol
If you have found the 3d model, I'd re-export 3d models properly, because if you see the front wheel, sup & steer, is the worst thing I've ever seen on GPB. The bad thing is that if we change that the bikes behavior is gonna change completely
The model in my 3ds max shots is rip directly from gpbikes with 3Dvia Printscreen.

If you really want to reexport something, I have a better bike to make an SM in GPB. I can export it tonight, but it will not be a supported model since I don't think taking too much time on supermoto is useful since MXB will have it very very soon.

As I've said before, why not a release for both? GPB has some great road physics and MXB is getting really close (at least it looks like it from WIP threads) to a new beta release soon. Having the same bike spread over a few sims would not only bring more content to both sims, but as well, expose more people to supermoto in general. Just a suggestion, that releasing it for both would really open up the style of riding as well, maybe it would push Piboso a little bit further in the direction of allowing the modders to make riding styles that suit certain eras and certain types of bikes. ;)
And... it seems the MX Bikes community isn't half as excited as GP Bikes community when it comes to a supermoto. I for one am super excited about any and all releases pertaining to dirtbikes with road tires, but it seems that the dirt community primarily likes the knobbie tires. ;D
I'mbpretty sure that thoose in GPB that haven't got yet MXB they will purchase it when the sm comes out. Also, it is dificult to develop a good physics for one sim it is gonna be even more dificult if that physics havento fit on both sims. Imaginenyou only have GPB and the bike is not going as good as it could. You dont care about how is the bike going in mxb you simply want it to be perfect in gpb

Speaking from the MXB side of things I think the big difference is road bikes / offroad bikes. I know they are motocross bikes but 'supermoto' is really more of a road bike thing.. I guess if you had a full on motocross track that had a short section of road track it probably wouldn't excite you as much as a full on race track with a short section of offroad.. I don't know just a guess :D
Either way I'm super excited for supermoto.. Have some great ideas for tracks already and can't wait to get stuck in! 8)
Cool, SM racing online should be mega! ;D 8) would be nice to have proper SM in GPB too but it has to be better in MXB with the virtual rider style, air physics etc..
Looking forward to seeing what track u come up with fatcontroller ;D 8)

I'm a street rider so yeah, you got me pegged, it's all about minimal dirty and maximum road racing when I'm on a supermoto. ;D
All about that SM fun, from GasGas wheels/suspension on a DRZ400S to the "four stroke revolution" 98/99 YZ400F with Suzuki mags from the early 90's, I'm truly all about getting down and dirty on some twisty roads and making the big boys on the inline fours wish they had a supermoto too. 8)

Sometimes I split the difference and ride a true dual sport. (punched out high compression XR with a hot cam and "carb mod"; a friends bike he lets me borrow from time to time over the years)
(http://i645.photobucket.com/albums/uu175/RatFighter/20140522_172209_zpsvu0iwwss.jpg) (http://s645.photobucket.com/user/RatFighter/media/20140522_172209_zpsvu0iwwss.jpg.html)
But mostly I just ride my little XR100 because two strokes and air time are far behind me. Just can't ride MX, another wreck may be the last one, broke too much and demolished too much of my spine to be able to do the rag-doll roll anymore. I'll leave that madness up to the talented and keep my supermoto's on the asphalt and in unicycle mode. :)

(on topic of Supermoto's, off topic of the release for GPB)
I was orignally developing the parts for the "hooligan mod" of GS500E mag wheels on it when I just happened across a setup on ebay for an affordable price, it utilized GasGas FSE400SM wheels, Brembo brakes, and USD forks with billet triple clamps (adjustable lock stops too), and having that seemed more logical for the stuff I was doing so I ordered it, bolted it up, bought a SM fender for the front, and rode a few years on it like that. Was alot of fun, and even the DRZ400SM guys were asking what my setup was due to how wildly exotic it looked compared to the standard DRZ. The rolled lip on the wheels and the massive 320mm Brembo brake setup out front gave it a nasty appearance. I really, really liked that bike, all except the weight of it. Modern MX'ers are all aluminum and rather feather light compared to even my YZ (way lighter than the DRZ). I used to joke I should have just bought a KLR or a XR650L if I wanted to ride a pig with 17's. lol :D

Deer-Zee with "The Smoker" ('86 KDX200 w/ 2012 CBR250R wheels, modern KDX forks, Brembo rear brake adapted to a modified KDX swingarm) out for a back road burn.

With the airbox trimmed out, a combination of 3 different "off the shelf" jet kits (I tune carbs and exhaust, guru of sorts with them ;) ) and a custom exhaust of my spec, with some uprated clutch springs it would bring them up in 3rd gear with a little clutch action, made for some NASTY corner exits. :D

Can someone tell me how to add this to my bikes?
Firstly we're presuming you have purchased GPBikes? Only default bikes work with the demo. ;)
Extract the downloaded bike zip file and then place the extracted bike folder into your "
C:\Program Files\GP Bikes\gpbikes\bikes" folder(if you can't see it then create it), just make sure when you extract the bike zip that you don't extract a folder within a folder or the bike won't show-up in the bike selection menu. In other words, when you extract the bike files with your zip application don't select "Extract to", select "Extract here".
You should be good to go. ;D
If you have any problems then post a picture(or text post) of your GPBikes install folder hierarchy and install address on your system.
You really shouldn't have any problems if you read this GPBikes Guide kindly created by Max here on the forum: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=431.0 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=431.0)
Hawk.
PS: If you are using a 32 bit system and install then obviously you will have your GPBikes installed in your "Program Files(x86)" folder, and not "Program Files" folder as stated above. ;)
thanks hawk
