If I found time tonight, a template will be available  :)

I think the biggest problem I've noticed, even when it first released was the shade seems to be reverse. The shadow is coming from the top of the bike no matter where the light source is.

Really bugs me. lol

If you have found the 3d model, I'd re-export 3d models properly, because if you see the front wheel, sup & steer, is the worst thing I've ever seen on GPB. The bad thing is that if we change that the bikes behavior is gonna change completely

The model in my 3ds max shots is rip directly from gpbikes with 3Dvia Printscreen.

If you really want to reexport something, I have a better bike to make an SM in GPB. I can export it tonight, but it will not be a supported model since I don't think taking too much time on supermoto is useful since MXB will have it very very soon.

I've also a TM exporter to in MxBikes, but as you say it's better to wait to the oficial SM :D

As I've said before, why not a release for both? GPB has some great road physics and MXB is getting really close (at least it looks like it from WIP threads) to a new beta release soon. Having the same bike spread over a few sims would not only bring more content to both sims, but as well, expose more people to supermoto in general. Just a suggestion, that releasing it for both would really open up the style of riding as well, maybe it would push Piboso a little bit further in the direction of allowing the modders to make riding styles that suit certain eras and certain types of bikes.  ;)

And... it seems the MX Bikes community isn't half as excited as GP Bikes community when it comes to a supermoto. I for one am super excited about any and all releases pertaining to dirtbikes with road tires, but it seems that the dirt community primarily likes the knobbie tires.  ;D

I'mbpretty sure that thoose in GPB that haven't got yet MXB they will purchase it when the sm comes out. Also, it is dificult to develop a good physics for one sim it is gonna be even more dificult if that physics havento fit on both sims. Imaginenyou only have GPB and the bike is not going as good as it could. You dont care about how is the bike going in mxb you simply want it to be perfect in gpb

Speaking from the MXB side of things I think the big difference is road bikes / offroad bikes. I know they are motocross bikes but 'supermoto' is really more of a road bike thing.. I guess if you had a full on motocross track that had a short section of road track it probably wouldn't excite you as much as a full on race track with a short section of offroad.. I don't know just a guess  :D

Either way I'm super excited for supermoto.. Have some great ideas for tracks already and can't wait to get stuck in!  8)

Cool, SM racing online should be mega!  ;D  8) would be nice to have proper SM in GPB too but it has to be better in MXB with the virtual rider style, air physics etc..

Looking forward to seeing what track u come up with fatcontroller  ;D 8)

I'm a street rider so yeah, you got me pegged, it's all about minimal dirty and maximum road racing when I'm on a supermoto.  ;D

All about that SM fun, from GasGas wheels/suspension on a DRZ400S to the "four stroke revolution" 98/99 YZ400F with Suzuki mags from the early 90's, I'm truly all about getting down and dirty on some twisty roads and making the big boys on the inline fours wish they had a supermoto too.  8)

Sometimes I split the difference and ride a true dual sport. (punched out high compression XR with a hot cam and "carb mod"; a friends bike he lets me borrow from time to time over the years)

But mostly I just ride my little XR100 because two strokes and air time are far behind me. Just can't ride MX, another wreck may be the last one, broke too much and demolished too much of my spine to be able to do the rag-doll roll anymore. I'll leave that madness up to the talented and keep my supermoto's on the asphalt and in unicycle mode. :)

(on topic of Supermoto's, off topic of the release for GPB)

I was orignally developing the parts for the "hooligan mod" of GS500E mag wheels on it when I just happened across a setup on ebay for an affordable price, it utilized GasGas FSE400SM wheels, Brembo brakes, and USD forks with billet triple clamps (adjustable lock stops too), and having that seemed more logical for the stuff I was doing so I ordered it, bolted it up, bought a SM fender for the front, and rode a few years on it like that. Was alot of fun, and even the DRZ400SM guys were asking what my setup was due to how wildly exotic it looked compared to the standard DRZ. The rolled lip on the wheels and the massive 320mm Brembo brake setup out front gave it a nasty appearance. I really, really liked that bike, all except the weight of it. Modern MX'ers are all aluminum and rather feather light compared to even my YZ (way lighter than the DRZ). I used to joke I should have just bought a KLR or a XR650L if I wanted to ride a pig with 17's. lol :D

Deer-Zee with "The Smoker" ('86 KDX200 w/ 2012 CBR250R wheels, modern KDX forks, Brembo rear brake adapted to a modified KDX swingarm) out for a back road burn.

With the airbox trimmed out, a combination of 3 different "off the shelf" jet kits (I tune carbs and exhaust, guru of sorts with them  ;) ) and a custom exhaust of my spec, with some uprated clutch springs it would bring them up in 3rd gear with a little clutch action, made for some NASTY corner exits. :D

Sorry for the thread jack, but it's supermoto related right? I've been one of the biggest proponents of this KXF surviving the beta changes (even adjusted things and re-released it with permission quite some time ago).  ;)
