While we are all looking forward to the improvements beta8 will bring, here are three two very important issues that can be easily fixed but might have been overlooked by you.


1 Disable bike<->knee/rider clipping/collisions to avoid the rider falling off the bike when it reaches higher lean angles at banked corners or gets very close to curbs (without losing traction).

2 Remove the 145 km/h minimum speed limit required to gain full control over the rider (complete lateral and longitudinal rider lean range available at any time) when using full manual rider lean as opposed to manual overwrite (ability to tuck behind the windscreen / lean forward at all velocities like it's possible with auto rider lean).


Half Done    3 Include parameter in the bike cfg that can invert (reverse crankshaft, e.g. M1) or remove (dual counter-rotating crankshafts, e.g. varese/c594) the engine reaction torque when bikes use alternative crankshaft layouts.

Done     Suggestion: Increase the amount of different tyre sets available for bikes.

So, if you rev Manu's M1 while standing still, the rear suspension compresses.

Shouldn't it be the other way around due to the reverse rotating crankshaft?


....Haven't tested it for other bikes.

Question for the bike modders:
Do you think that one could do something about the random rider ejections when the bike reaches very high lean angle and comes close to the ground (without losing traction or touching the ground, though)?

Maybe use some fake values somewhere to delay the moment of ejection?


It's quite ironic because a few people have been complaining about the lean angle lately and now we've got Manu's motogp bikeset and the bikes can reach much higher lean angle (just do some tests at suzuka and vallelunga) but the rider decides to just let go

i just thought that it would be a very interesting track

my usual rcv setup on basically all tracks

it works really well for me, so i thought i would share it.



this one is geared for sachsenring (i only adjust the final ratio).
you may change EB to 2 for tighter tracks (not for very tight ones like valencia, though) and possibly reduce the swing arm length to 0 (the bike will be slighty less stable in and out of corners but it will have the ability to take tighter lines).
oh and of course adjust the tyre pressure slighty if needed: ~1.5-1.55 (correction: 1.4) bar is the optimum operation temperature, so check it in the pits after a few fast laps. going below will result in less lean angle and overheating will results in uncorrectable slides.

I got 3 jump start glitches today

Great rear end feel but on the exit of high speed corners the bike wobbles and crashes.

Since today I get stuck on 'Connected' when I try to connect to any server.
I have mod 1.9 installed and i have no idea what causes this once again.

Damnit, 9 players on the sachsenring server and i cant get on it.

I want to create new sound for the RC213V and I already have some nice 'loopable' samples, the question is how do I put them together to form a smoothely sounding bike?
Are there any tutorials on this topic?
