hey guys ,

i just saw this video of rossi doing 351 km/h on mugello
https://www.youtube.com/v/w0WPSEjkbE8

i instantly started gp bikes and tried that , but with no success !! i did not even get close to it ! my top speed was ''only'' (pretty damn quick ^^ ) about 316 km/h but without braking !!
is the straight on mugello not long enough ? or does the bike need more horsepower ? or is it only the setup ?

what do you guys think

Vini

With braking and the right gearing I get 320 km/h but yeah, the 1000cc bikes in GPB are supposed to represent the 2003(?) MotoGP bike.

Stout Johnson

Yeah the Murasama engine and physics are to resemble older MotoGP bikes. I would also like to see a tweaked engine version (and maybe even adjusted physics?) at least for the current gen mod bikes like the RC213V, M1, GP12 we have. Would be great.

Maybe C21 could so sth about it?  ;) I know its hard to come by real data, but a slight tweaking of the original Murasama files would do I guess and I would believe that C21 could do a great job there. Maybe even slightly different, seperate files for  RC213V, M1 and GP12 - so we could have really different bikes?

Hello,
if you set 40kmh of wind to the right direction you probably go to more than 320kmh:)

Vini

Probably :D
But it was in a race and I don't even know the wind speed that was set.

hey guys ,

i just edited the engine file and this is the result

https://www.youtube.com/v/07vbCgyNugQ&feature=youtu.be i set the wind to 43 km/h to the west

its pretty damn powerfull now !! it does wheelies in 4th gear and sometimes in 5th !!
if you want to try it , here is the file : https://mega.co.nz/#!eIJQDDRZ!BV1TFBuQ4dSlT54MSzz6eBPXGy5tF98p6xKgUj_6ok4 its only working with bikes that have the murasama engine

I use the google translator

The maximum i have been on murasama was 387km/h, max wind in the right direction and the road was going down.

Can you mod a 400+ kmh bike engine? :D

Can you just like that edit engine file?......ok......how can we trust online times now?

Arvoss

You need the same engine file as the host ;)

JamoZ

That doesn't stop you from hosting your own online server and hotlap with that file...

GPB stats page may have a check on the bike checksum so it could see it's a modified bike (and won't log the times).
I even think it's the case, I'm just too lazy to try out (but anybody can).

On thrid-party apps (like hotlap or what Alibaskin is doing) it's theoretically possible to do the same, but some help from Piboso would be needed.
