oh well not to worry lol  ::)

The same BOB.

I start when the number is 00.00.
I think wait after 00.00 !

It's crazy and it's bad disqualified for this for the warm up lap.

you have to start after green flag is out

Good race guys! congrats to Janau and all other riders! and sorry for the ones who got jump start :S

Hawk

Yeah I got a jump start while there was still 30 seconds to go..... I wondered if I was out of sync or something?

Anyway I stayed online and watched the full race on Live replay.... There was only about 4 or 5 riders left after the start so most riders spaced out on there own, but Janau and loopa had a good battle. :D

Shame so many got jump starts or Disq at the start otherwise I think the racing would've been much closer. But that's the way it goes sometimes, but will be interesting to see what Peter can determine happened at the start from the server logs.  ;)

But well done Janau, you were under pressure at the end there from Loopa but for some reason Loopa decided to head-butt the hairpin barrier on the final lap. Sorry Loopa but that was quite funny LOL  ;D

PeterV

lots of jumpstarts i see, shame really.
Reminds me not too disable chat, if it is disabled i also cant read any messages.
But i have an idea for that, i think :P

Race went oke otherwise no core.exe at all.  Most of us had a lonely race though, just defending our own position.
Janaucarre 1, Loopateli 2 and good old PeterV 3th.
Results will follow shortly as is the replay.

well done guys!

loopatelli did you not win? you were flying man!!

ps. green flag was waving! everybody infront of me moved away before me! (on my screen) so im not sure if it was my error or not?
not to worry il try again next time.. :P

EDIT: didnt realise i could spectate!  :( i left the lobby..

Hawk

I didn't get chance to see any green flag. With 30 secs to go I was just completing my grid adjustment  and WHAM! Back to the event info screen I was kicked and it said in the chat window that I jump started. LOL
I also saw in the chat screen that several others got a Jump start at the same time and one was disqualified. Shame because more riders in the event would've made for closer racing.

Hawk.

Because I'm so clever and i decided to go looking for lap times in the last laps. 2 stupid crashes and i said bye to the race.
A big LOL.. xD

Hey guys,
sorry for those who had problems with jump-start. Congrats to all who had a good race and who enjoyed the event.

As you are speaking of jump-starts: We just had a little practice race at the Brno GP1000 server, and we stumbled upon another annoying thing concerning jump-starts. All riders were aligned in the starting grid, except one rider. When this rider came to his marked spot, he also tried to align perfectly on his starting spot. What happened was that he received jump-start penalty while he was still trying to align..... what happened was, that while trying to align, for a split-second he obviously was in his designated starting area and was in a stand-still (for a split second while trying to adjust his position walking the bike) - so the starting procedure went on right away. As he was not aware he had inadvertantly triggered the starting procedure, he still wanted to align himself and was "awarded" with a jump-start penalty.

So all people that want to participate in races need to aware of this. If you are the last to align on the grid, YOU will be the one who will trigger the starting procedure. So when coming to a stand-still within the designated starting box you must not move anymore antil green light starts the race.

It is not really a bug, as technically it works ok. But for the sake of realism and for letting people adjust their starting position it needs to be sorted. I will also report it in the suggestions area.
