what do you mean by leaning device?
i am just talking about something like this with an additional steering axis.


of course this is just optional but it would be an interesting way of controlling the rider imo.
do you know if there already are some sorts of sensor mats?

Try yes, except a leaning device will be pretty expensive, even for a try.

Sensors for ass movements ? Sounds like some decent complexity for little result.

doesn't seem to be that complicated.

and it doesn't have to be extremeley precise because it's just the rider movement.

but then you could basically lean in your chair like you would on the bike and thus the lean angle of the handlebar won't be a problem.
