Thank you hawk for solving that.
BUT i will not upload ZIP files.
The solution on Page1 is good enough.
Not really: with some browser configurations, it will prompt you to confirm where to save each file, so you'll have to click a button for each file you download.

Single .zip is the way. It's probably a bit more efficient too (compression + single file).

Uploading single ZIP file containers for each bike...be patient  ;)

A few quick comments on the Street (haven't tried the other yet):

  • Is 1st gear that long ? 155Kmh on track ! Other gears seem long too: can't even get it in 6th on victoria.
  • In the garage, the front susp spring is 23.0 by default, but if you change it you can only get 19.0-22.0 (you have put "setting = 4", but as it is zero-based, this means 5th setting, which is 23 and is outside the range 19-22).
  • In the brake settings, the leverage of the front is "Nissin": that's confusing, probably better to put whichever leverage it has (18mm I guess, from the 11.11 ratio)
  • When in neutral, the engine seems to take a long time to go back to his minRPM once you have blipped the throttle: I've see it has a slightly higher inertia than the 990, but still ... I think the braking torque may be wrong: it is much much smaller than the one of the 990. I'd tend to say it should be equal or even higher than the one of the 990. A friend of mine (more knowledgeable in mechanics) told me that a rule of thumb for braking torque could be to use the the ratio of the bore of the two engines (both 4 cyl 4 stroke): take the 990 braking torque curve and multiply it by bore_CBR / bore_990.

Just the very first things I noticed, too tired to ride seriously tonight.

Other things (then I promise I go to bed):

  • your street tire (which is sculpted) has a lower wet grip (on asphalt1, kerbs and paint) than the 990 slick quali tire (on other surfaces they have the same wet grip). Seems strange, no ?
  • your rear tire (TorusRadius = 0.13, Width = 60) is a 225 ! Sounds like a lot for a street CBR :)

Max your digging deep into it..... ::)
Cheater :-)

Points:
1: It´s the original gearing of the CBR, sorry.
2: Yes, my mistake.
3: Correct, but you can´t change it. And if someone want´s to know he can look into the .cfg
4: Yes i know. It´s a minor bug....it´s the braking curve which causes this....i will change it.
No the values are not to high...in my opinion tne values of the Murusama are way too high. You have to go down to prevent a locking rear tyre at downshift. I used the Murusama braking curve first before developing my own. It was a mess to ride with the Murusama braking curve . The testriders could talk about.... ;)

Tyres:
1. The slick quali tyre´s wet grip is to much for my taste..(edit: asphalt1 was a mistyping..). Kerbs and paints are really slippery when wet!!
2. Correct, its a 225. Id did not test the other one...maybe in a future update. ( think we have to talk about the tyre.gbb - write you PN in a few hours).

Really tired.

Thank you for testing and giving a detailed feedback. Maybe the release was one or two days early but now others can find bugs and i will improve the bikes based on the bugs.

Edit:
Fixed Point 2 and 4.(Minor Bugs)
Will Upload updated cfg and engn...

Edit2:
Fixed Tyre Point 1and 2.
Will upload updated tyre...

OK, you cannot change it, but you can show the real value (18mm, as 11.11 ratio = 200mm/18mm) instead of "Nissin".

Don't worry, all this stuff is really beta as we (collectively) are not yet 100% clear on what all the GPB parameters do. Until that day where everything is clear, there will be some "trial and error".

No. Nein. Njet. Non. No  :P
Just kidding.. ;D

Ok, as a compromise a will change that in the future to "Nissin 18mm".
I don´t think this bike will be raced online that much.....it´s called "GPBikes" and i think we should rely on the Race derivates.

I don´t worry...right this is all Beta and maybe some things changes in Beta5.....it was nice to modd the bike...learned a lot.
But i don´t like mistakes and the things leading to V02 were only my own faults  ;)

Only the ones that don't do anything don't make any mistake.

I see the TorusRadius 0.11 wwith Width 60, so that's a 190 tire, good :)
But why Radius is 0.305 ?

As far as I know, the street has 190/50-17 so Radius should be (19.0 * .50) + (17 * 2.54)/2 = 31.1cm = 0.311

That 5mm difference really bothers me :) :) :)

MaX.

P.S.
Forgot for the braking torque: yeah, using the one of the 990 is too much ... just scale it down a bit, maybe with the ratio of max power CBR/990 ...

C21

V02 upload was done before you enlightend me with the tyres.
I will change that when i´m uploading WSBK tomorrow ;-)

Hey.....i love this WSBK version.......so many options in traction control Waaaw man its like riding HP4  ;) .....it's too bad we can't control TC on bike like in real life.....i really like it great job.
