Latest Track Database Update: Tuesday 9th August 2016


Tracks updated :

• Johor V1.0_NDS (New)

Change Log:

• Created a NDS(No Dynamic Surface) version of current Johor track.
• Created new track centreline/adjusted start grid to correct position/tweaked track sector timing markers.
• Created NEW Replay CAM files, including a NEW "Race Start CAM" and also a NEW "Sky CAM" that overlooks all the track and uses zoom function to view the action from above as though followed by a helicopter. 
• Tweaked the old "Track Marshal" positions so they work with the new track centreline.

• Main track asphalt smoothed
• Added trees and bushes around the track.
• Inside grass made colllidable to prevent falling into "deep space"

Latest Track Database Update: Sunday 27th November 2016


Track updated:

• Silverstone GP v0.96_NDS
  
  
• Silverstone GP v0.96(Dynamic Track Surface)

Change Log:

• Extensive rebuild of most of the UV maps and placement adjustments of the textures within the UV maps.
• New track texture.
• New "HELI-CAM". This will show the replay as if viewing from a Helicopter following the riders.
• Numerous fixes to gaps and holes.
• Fixed a lot of track peripheral models such as trees and banner-ads that were not showing in v0.95
• New pit-in and pit-exit track textures
• Activated the "Artificial Turf" - Caution is needed now as it is pretty slippy if you ride over at an angle.
• Extensive optimisation to reduce number of verts and textures needed to be processed, so should be more consistent on your FPS rates.
• Adjusted some yardage markers that were protruding into the track.
• Fixed some Armco and tyre wall barriers that were not working correctly.
• Tweaked the replay cams.
• New track code added to this version.
  
  


• Note: Unfortunately I had to cut out the real 3D terrain mesh I created due to it causing the FBX2EDF Export Converter crashing on export. That was a real shame because it showed a true landscape view in the distance. I'll aim to include this once the FBX2EDF Export Converter has been fixed.
