Maybe P should look into a way to keep the profile from being effected during such actions

What is your system spec? Seeing a significant drop in fps solo at Victoria might suggest your machine is struggling with your current settings.
16AA and 3D grass are both frame rate killers without decent dedicated graphics hardware

One thing you need to do is NOT use TESTING. Use RIDE and then HOST LOCAL. Set up how you want it to be and add ALL bike classes so you can use all your bikes in it. Then just START and you should have far less core crashes.

Ok, so did what you said and sure enough, first half of the lap i get a core.exe... now im not too sure but i think it happens when i touch my back brake? Im at a loss
EDIT: Just restarted the sim and did 10 laps straight and no core.exe... seems to be very intermittent at the moment.. ill see how i go!
Does anyone know what a core.exe actually is and why it happens, or is that a silly question? Its just frustrating and can kinda ruin the whole game! Does anyone think it will be fixed during beta?
Thanks as always!
It is not a stupid question mate it is the source of much discussion and is the current driving force for PiBoSo to cure
But as you guessed if we knew what causes it we could fix it. Pib is all over this most annoying problem, the very heart of major frustration for a long time.
You seem to be getting more than most, try an over the top re-install to freshen things up. No-one really knows why but doing this has worked wonders for many.
If you want to research the history of the core.exe problem do a forum search so you can understand the depth of feeling on this matter

Here is the info on .ini files and the locations of them: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?board=14.0
The replay buffer(in the gpbike.ini) is set from a default of 10MB up to 512 MB if I'm not mistaken, and the higher the amount you set it the longer time frame GPBikes will record for you to be able to save should you wish to do so.
So if you keep your replay buffer at 10MB you will only get a short period of replay time available to save, but if you want to record and save a whole race event then set it at maximum amount and it will cover that time period for you to save. You can always edit the replay file to a shorter length if you wish on playback using the replay controls in the replay control panel.
Yes, you do just open the .ini files in notepad and edit as required and then save it back to it's original location.
Hope this helps mate.
Hawk.

Shouldn't it be in Paints section instead of Bikes?
Good painting

Excellent work mate!!
A really clean looking bike that i could see being race
And like DD said. Once you've renamed the file i can add it to the databse

Great work m8
For future referance, please make sure the pnt file name has what it belongs to in it as that is how everyone can tell what paint belongs to what or it is very confusing
Examples:
MotoGP_GSXR#47_Durex.pnt Put CLASS_BIKE#NUMBER and a name if need be.
Helmet_AraiChaserV_Durex.pnt
ModernSuit_#47_Durex.pnt (Due to new rider model add modern to the name for now and when we start making Legend paints use LegendSuit_)
paint names must be under 30 or 32 characters long including spaces!!!
This way when we have pnt files we know what they are for as it is a real pain otherwise.
Look forward to seeing more paints from you. Great start m8
