Hi All,

So to update to beta11 do i re download and overwrite install the sim again? will this keep all my mods etc.. or do i need to put them back after? And is there any info regarding whats new in beta11?

Also whats the difference between NDS tracks and non NDS?

Im slowly noobing my way out of these thing with all your help!

So i was doing what you both said all along, but it still wasnt working??

However i figured it out!!! So what i was doing wrong was placing the new .tga files I had made in a folder on my desktop and navigating to them through painted. What i discovered is if i just place the .tga files on my desktop and not in a folder then paited will open them and then it works!

I have a few changes to my skin to make then i shall upload to the forum.

One last question! whats the best way to attach a file to one of my post for people to download?... Id like to upload a zip as i have bike, leathers .pnt etc..

God im so happy i got this to work!!

Hi All,

So im having a little trouble... im working with a Motogp Suzuki bike template that consists of 5 PSD files.. the names are..

carenado.psd
rim.psd
windshield.psd
c_carenado.psd
c_windshield.psd

Once i have finished editing the files in photoshop i save each PSD as a .tga keeping its original filename? (eg. carenado.tga) is this correct?

Once i open the 5 .tga files in 'painted' the program crashes when trying to convert to .pkt files.

I have successfully edited a leathers .psd file template and converted to .pkt with no problems, however this is only 1 file not 5. I also know to name the .tga as 'rider'

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

Also why are the files repeated in painted? eg.  (._windshield) etc???

Hi All,

So i have made a custom rider skin using the PSD template provided... my question is, how to i compress all the layes and end up with a .pnt file?
I've worked with DDS before but never .pnt!

Any help or pointing to a thread would be much appreciated.

Sorted.. yes onboard all the way! The external was just to admire the bikes and so on. Thank you for the reply!

Yes i have to agree... i dont know if you guys are using xbox control like me? but what buttons do you find best for gear shift?
I currently use Y and B.

Hi All,

As im still learning to do at least one lap without crashing Im switching between manual and auto gearing.
The problem im having is, when using auto gears and the bike is on a slight angle (such as corning) the gearing wont change until the bike is upright.. this even happens on long sweeping corners that should allow this... can anyone help me?

Hi all,

So i use on board view 95% of the time, however i like to use the external view from time to time.
My question is... how do i pan the view around the bike while in external view? I use a Xbox one controller.
Under the simulation tab i have selected 'joystick' under free view options... however this just seems to turn his head (using right stick on the controller) and not pan around the bike?
Has anyone info on what i can do?

Good man... thank you! I have found a few and they seem to work for now!

Also do you know the location i put the 'bike stands' folder from the 'bike mod' download.
So basically i just want to know the install path more or less!
