hey guys ..thnx for the bike ! realy nice/ it looks stuning ..only ..the sound is the most enoying sound ever.. but i only have driven a aprillia 250 road version ...and that one was not even close to this performance ..  i was testing the bike on Jerez ..noticed that i am goinig round with a 250 faster then a 600

That's because the 250 race bike had less weight and awesome power

times as the 500cc GP bikes.

It handles better than 125cc?

I feel silly, I didn't know they were actually that fast! infact the lap the same times as the 500 GP bikes!!!!
and only 4 seconds off the pace of current MotoGP bikes... that is just CRAZY!

What`s wrong with the sound? I think it`s awesome. oDi did a really good job on it considering the limited recourses we have to make decent sounds.

Just tested this bike myself.... Great MOD guys, but I have to agree with GhostdogNL about the sound. At tick-over it sounds like a 4 stroke and it is missing that raspy 2 stroke noise that is such a characteristic of a 2 stroke engine. Compare with the real sound and you'll hear what I'm trying to explain:

Also I feel that the physics need tweaking as I was testing on Victoria and found the front end was very twitchy and nervous as though I was riding on a bad track surface the front end slid away on several occasions for no good reasons, and we all know that Victoria is probably one of the best track surfaces around at this moment. 

Hope you guys will take my comments above as they are intended, as constructive criticism, only intended to improve a great bike MOD.

You can change the sound with a copy of engine.scl and .wav file of other 500 of the game.
It's very difficult to play with the actual sound. It's like there is 2 sounds in a same time.

But i know it's very difficult to do a good sound... It's not a reproach of course ^^

LOL. maybe you have not read the previous posts... the Aprilia RSA 250 2008 is faster than a GP500 even in real life, 1 or 2 second .

And only 1 second (or less) slower than 2003 MotoGP.

MotoGP 2003 Mugello : 1:51.927

250 2008 Mugello : 1:52.675

For sound complain, is very weird.We checked all, and the there is no overlap, maybe you have problems in your folder. Anyway I like, as well as physics, and this is important. If You do not like you are free to make your own 250, I do not care;)

I also think that the sound needs to be changed.
In my opinion we also need a different sound for partly opened throttle on two strokes.


Anyway, as I said in the NSR 500 topic, it would be really great if we had more lean angle on the 500.

You people have no idea how hard it is to create a good sound. The sound is perfect for what options we have with the sound engine. The things you guys ask for are just not possible with the sound engine gp bikes uses, or at least not as easy to do as you guys might think. Give oDi a break, he did amazing on the 250 sound. When is it ever going to be good enough?
