Someone playing GB-Bikes on a laptop and can tell me his hardware?
i´m thinking to invest in a laptop besides the desktop i am using.
Using an older laptop (its not a gaming laptop and uses shared memory for graphics) for development of the CBR1000 engines but can only play in reduced window size and all graphic on low on this one. Even with that setting i have stutter in framerates.
Don´t want to buy a new one but there must be used systems which can suit my needs.
Or is it possible to remove the landscape and play on track only?

MacBook Pro (shame on me  ::)), i5 @2,5GHz, Intel HD4000 512MB, 4GB RAM, W7 Pro.

-3D Grass is disabled (but works)
-4x AA (x8 & x16 seem to do nothing on my laptop but work on my desktop)
-30FPS Mini (including online)
-Avast, Spotify & Skype running
-Other programs, such as Chrome closed or limited to a simple task (ex: 1 tab in Chrome)

You Apple fanboys (one day I'll stop insulting you, just not yet :) ), are you using Wine or Bootcamp/Parallels ?
Guess it's not Wine for Ricco (as he said Win7).

Interesting info that an Intel HD4000 is more or less enough for GPB.

BTW, you both forgot a minor information: the resolution you play at ...  ::)

I (also) play on a Macbook Pro Retina with 1920x1200 (I will try 2880x1440)
* 3D grass enabled
* 4x AA
* Texture high
* everything else to high

(also with 3dsmax open and Chrome with more than 20 tabs)

Very happy with it for now  :D

@HornetMax: Bootcamp. I tried with Parallels, but it is much slower.

Intel HD4000 is better than a lot of low cost videocards, and I have to admit that it's ok for "casual" gaming. The only thing i dislike is that videocard memory is shared with the RAM so you loose a lot of it when you play...but with it I play MotoGP13, BF3, F12012, AC (quite low res/details).

My resolution is 1280x800 (fullscreen)

Bootcamp is the only way to play on a Mac, Wine/Parallels/VB are ok just for light software.

EDIT : I forgot to add that all of my settings (except those I talked about before) are in maximum quality. My .ini is also tweaked to get better graphics.

@Arvoss: highest resolution = ?

No, it is a Nvidia GT650M (but I also have the intel one but the switching does not work on Windows)

edit: 2880x1800 runs fine @60fps !

Hmmm ... makes me wanna test GPB on my wife's MBP (i5, HD4000 1GB), but that would lead to immediate divorce ...
