No matter what way it is done even with the data base there are still many that dont have or want certain bikes and then there is a problem and they cant ride.

I will NOT run open because of that being a fact. I have discussed it with Nick and we both agree OPEN is not a good class to use.

You can not expect people to HAVE to install bikes on their system if they do not want to and it would lead to those people or someone that makes a mistake to having bike mismatch which leads to server owners having to spend/waste time looking for a problem that is not there.

Well all I can say is "good luck with that", because it's a fact that if the client doesn't have the bikes that the server has then the client cannot connect; this is why a standard list of bikes(the bikMOD database) is a good thing - it avoids connection problems due to missing bikes. And until Piboso can figure out how to allow connections without having to have all the same bikes installed that the server has installed then we have to deal with it. 
But unless I'm misunderstanding you with the idea you have there for it, your always going to get people who cannot connect because they don't know what bikes are installed on your server. This was the problem we had years ago DD, and this is the problem that was solved with the bikeMOD database list of bikes; it's a place where everyone knows they can find the latest bikeMODs that are being used on the online servers.
I mean don't get me wrong DD..... I would love to only have the 2 stroke bikes installed and still be able to connect to a server that had 2 stroke and 4 stroke bikes installed, but at the moment that would not be possible. 

I think your idea of installing the track(so long as it's a decent track surface) that is being used for the actual RL MotoGP events for that week is a great idea DD!  Go for it mate!!

LOL Hawky yeah I think there be a wee bit of mis understanding bro hehe.

I try to list the bikes in the server name to let folks know what is needed to join.

I feel bad about having to shut down my laptop and close the servers around 12.30AM to 1 AM but I need sleep and so does my lappy lol.

I can now start ordering parts to start building the dedicated server/live streaming system for GPBOC.

I am in the process of also contacting ASUS and seeing if we can get some sponsorship for advertising using ROG components.

So its been a few stressful weeks but getting there lol

Server internet speed upgrade to 150MB/150MB coming on August 20th so should be better for riding and streaming.

I need to know what races you guys are interested in holding and when. We need to get regular races going again!!!

I used some of the donation money to get an Excelvan BM8000 Mic, Mic boom and Pop Shield for commentary as the bloody Raptor Headset gets on my tits and the mic was shite. Vocals are clearer with no hiss or hum now.

I cant afford it yet but I will upgrade to 200/200 on the internet speed when I can. Its an extra tenna a month!!!

SO..........................WHAT is the next race to be guys.............I CANT fucking read minds!!!!
