THanks for the kind words guys, after reading comments that it was "Boring" it helps.

I have already explained my reasons. And my "boring" It was related to not being able to play (for reasons that no one knows  ) not for the DD streaming.

@DD: I use speakers not headphones and I'm finding the bikes sound is perfect but you could do with just a bit more volume on the commentary channel so I can hear you clearly above the bike noise, especially when switching to the other views were the bike sound increases.  Some of us are getting old f*ckers you know!! Hehe

I saw that now bro, no probs.

I will admit though I kinda bore myself lol. I need stuff to talk abou and with riders not always on the same bike like in real racing, it is very hard to know who is who, plus with a fast moving bike on screen you cant always read numbers and details if there are a few bikes very similar, same with helmets.

I am working on things to improve it and will be sharing soon.

audio mix and image quality is perfect, dd.
image quality will definitely not get better and there is barely any lag (as in framerate drops, not netcode stuff), as well which is what I am most happy about
i'd change the framerate from 45 to 48 (double-cinema). could you do a 1080p48 test video of some onboard replays to really see how fluid the motion is?

to be honest, i don't think the elgato is necessary after watching the video, at least for the video quality.
of course it will make the setup much easier to control and it will be much more reliable.

Yes the Elgato is also for control, software and more that makes the streaming far better, it is a MUST have item to do this right.

Will do a 1080 48 test on the new GPBOC5 server once setup in the morning

I have a 40" screen vin and I know the HD60S will improve the streaming quality big time. It means my GPU will not have to do 2 jobs and help the CPU too plus the software and direct YT connection will help. I have the software but cant use it. Great interface to work with.

I want to get it so I have 4 servers for different types of racing and riding including mod bike test server.

When you move I seriously need a dedicated system but cant afford it right now but trying to sort something out via hackspace.

yeah the elgato will definitely be the "clean" and more errorproof solution, although i'm really impressed with the quality you achieved with your current setup!

Okay so I am starting to feel bad about having to shut down the servers when I need to as I often need to reboot my PC due to working with software and hardware where it is really best to reboot. This is a bitch as it means the servers have to be shut down and if someone is on them it is bollocks for them.

My ASUS is expensive and all I have. I can not risk leaving it running 24/7 sorry. So I need to build a server system. It wont need a great graphics card and bells and whistles but it will need SATA for the HD and fast internet capabilities. I am trying all the people and places I know to see what I can do and thought that maybe it was worth asking you guys if you have parts laying about you dont use.

We already have a fast 500GB 7200RPM SATA HD, good internet connection that will be upgraded in a few months to 150/150. Now we need a dedicated home for the drive. I intend to run at least 4 servers for various race classes and types. I know how to build a fast PC ask Grimm. I have been doing it since the late 80,s.

I am in UK so really this is to UK guys because of shipping. Do any of you have old PC components that we can use to build a club server? This thing will need to run 24/7 365 lol

I fully intend to build a brand new system/s once I get the money. I have no problem spending money for the club if I have it. I really enjoy being able to do something as I am shit at modeling lol.

I should be able to use the key from my laptop which had 7 home premium I think but I put 7 Ultimate on it and upgraded to 10 with the Ultimate key.

Just need to get a copy of home premium

I am partitioning the drive today for the future to run more servers. I ran 2 on the same partition yesterday but think its best to do each in its own partition, right NIck?
